Some very good light colored oil. Absorbs quickly into hair and scalp. When used consistenly it makes hair soft, moisturized, and manageable. The smell for me is not that great, but the product works. The bottle is small; however, you dont need a lot. It's a good value for the money.

I have had chronic telogen effluvium for THREE YEARS. Mind you, TE usually resolves on its own, so products are usually not necessary, but mine had been going on for THREE YEARS. I heard that topical melatonin was recommended by some dermatologists and I wanted to give it a shot because I was absolutely desperate. Rosemary is also recommended, but I'd been using rosemary for years without much improvement. I started using this product in late December. I apply it to my roots, and massage it in, then I will wait an hour or two before I wash my hair. I use it every time I wash my hair, so usually every-other day, sometimes every 3, sometimes every day, depends on how dirty my hair gets. It takes three months to see results from ANY product because hair grows slowly, but I have a shocking amount of little hairs that are 2-3 inches long and tons of tiny new ones. It is now early february, and I am seeing little baby hairs all over the place. I bought a ring sizer to measure the thickness of my hair. In december, it was a ring size 7 at the crown of my head and a 4 at the nape of my neck. Today, it is an 8 at the crown of my head and a 5 at the nape of my neck. This stuff WORKS and I cannot recommend it enough if you are struggling with chronic or cyclical telogen effluvium. However, the bottle DOES leak, and all three bottles that I've bought have leaked a bit in the mail, so be aware of that. This product would be perfect if it was packaged better, but it still gets five stars from me because I so desperately want my hair back, and it has genuinely made a difference. Remember though: the only way to TRULY stop TE is to find and eliminate the cause. In my case, I think it was a medication. But I didn't quit taking that medication until January, so all of this regrowth is from this product.

This is exactly what I needed to complement my hair regrowth routine. The smell is strong, but doable if you like rosemary. It makes my hair softer and seems to have improved my hair health. I use this is conjunction with their rosemary water spritz which leaves my hair thoroughly moisturized.
