This is a fab brand. The colours are striking and engaging. The animal pieces are silhouette shapes and very attractive. The base pieces need to be slotted together first, then you add the cogs and the animals. If they are too close together they may catch on each other when the cogs are turned so there is a lot of problem solving involved for little ones. My two-year-old needs some help with arranging the animals on the cogs but he loves the colours and joining in.

Great for manual dexterity and so much more.
Bougjt this to helf students develop manual dexterity but I am using it for so much more. Posiitional vocabulary, planning and imaginative play - and I daresay I'll find more uses. Brilliant little kit.

Fun toy
Well made. Worked first go. Good to play with. Two and a half year old grandson loved it! Could do with more variety of size cogs. 50 pieces sounds a lot but the pack could do with being bigger. There were 3 spares so only 47 pieces.

Great toy
My 3 year old grandson loved this toy. He had it on his birthday and got stuck into it immediately. I think it would be equally interesting to a girl too. Really satisfying toy with lots of pieces to put together and make an imaginary jungle.

Got this to add to some Georello I purchased for my youngest son some 20 years ago! This time to add to my grandchildren's toy box when they visit,Well made and brilliant for hand/eye co ordination and imagination,a great product

Ordered for grand children
Ordered for my grandchildren as an alternative from all the computer games etc and they loved them. They played quietly together, used there imagination and most of all had fun together.

Great Starter Set
This is a really good introduction to Quercetti Gears. The pieces are really easy to put together (my 2 year old manages to assemble this with help) and there are lots of variations you can make. The only negative I would say is that the pegs that slide the animal and tree pieces into the holes are easily bent and could be broken with time.
