this senna works well, I use it often.

First quality seems ok. Steeped for ten minutes, tea made from senna tastes lot like alfalfa tea. Not wonderful, but not horrible. You can read all you want about best dosage, but you will have to experiment to find right dosage for your body. Start with small amount like a teaspoon, and gradually increase amount. you will know if you get too strong a dose as you will get some cramps. Like say start small amount and gradually increase until you get results you want. For me personally, 150lbs old man, I found that a level tablespoon of crumbled leaves in cup water works best. Hot water, ten minutes steeping, strain and drink. Taste not wonderful but ok without trying to mask/modify it. Seriously think sweetener would make it truly nasty tasting. Your mileage may vary. Senna is more an overnight thing, not something that gives immediate results. But dont ignore any urge to go or you may have cleanup in aisle seven... especially if you got little too strong of a dose. In a world where people worship experts and corporate daddy knows best, sometimes you just have to experiment to find what works for you. Next summer going to grow some senna, its an easy plant to grow and butterflies like the blooms. I have grown it in past as a flower. That way I am sure of freshness and such.
