What are the ingredients?

Sugar water miso (water soybeans rice salt alcohol )soy sauce (water soybean salt sugar) plum puree garlic caramel color modified corn starch salt vinegar molasses spices citric acid xanthan gum.

Ingredients say contains caramel color, which usually has gluten. Do they use gluten free caramel color? I don't trust people these days.

On the kikkoman site it says that all their gluten free products are certified gluten free by the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America. If you research caramel coloring, in the US it is made from rice and if it contains wheat it should be indicated in the ingredient list. I think all you can do is try to do as much research online as possible and if you’re still uncomfortable about a product, don’t use it.
