The item itself is as described & what i needed. Item package was open & chain was loose inside shipping box. Shipping box was also ripped open. Therefore making it possible for the chain to have fallen out.

A brand new Stihl chain shipped to my door for less than it cost down the road. No complaints.

Purchased this chain for my MS391.The one I received is on the left in the picture and the one in the right is a package I got from a local store. I noticed as soon as I got it that the packaging was missing all the writing on the outside that should have been printed in the boxes at the bottom of the Stihl packaging. The only indicator as to what was in the box is a hand fixed label on the back that was obviously put there by Amazon. Seems a little suspicious to me since the box doesn’t indicate gauge, file size, chain size, model number, or anything.It appears to be an older Stihl box and the chain appears to be authentic by looking at it but I have not tried the chain yet.I’ll follow up once the chain is used.

This was a good price for a quality stihl product. Delivery of product was delayed twice and it took 2 weeks to receive my order.

You can count on Stihl products. The price has been going up to the point I am looking for other manufacturers.
