Fits and looks great.

There are some other reviewers with concerns about color and fit. 1. The color is slightly darker than the canon lens. However it's minimal. At 6 feet no one will take notice. And to me it's way cooler than the black that was supplied with the lens. 2. As far as the fit is concerned, I have no idea what other reviewers are talking about. The hood fit easily, snug and clicked into position. The lens cover fits without issue with the hood on as well. I mean, if you're looking at this hood and reading my review, just pull the trigger. It's totally worth it. Oh wait! Do take note this hood is only for the first "f2.8 is" model. Not the original non "is" or the II or III models.

I was sceptical about purchasing this after some of the reviews. But after I received it, it is exactly what it says and it fits my canon 70-200 f4 lens.

fits perfect and adds a lot of protection. for $10.00 it's a must have for your lens.
