Figuring out how to tighten/loosen and connect/disconnect the helmet was no more difficult or easy than any other helmet: uses pretty much the same type of hardware/connectors.The most basic of the electronics features were easy to figure out and intuitive. 1. Press the power button on the helmet. 2. Click the buttons on the remote control. And if you aren't clear on what the button icons mean, the manual that comes with clarifies things nicely.I was worried about the app because some of the reviews for it were downright horrendous. However my experience is that it, too, was intuitive and helpful and stable (not crashing or freezing up, as some of the reviews suggested does). Without the app, you can still use the helmet and its basic light functions, such as left turn, right turn, breaking, and general lighting effects, which it rotates through. With the app, you can pick many more lighting effects and set preferences for how you want things to work.All in all, it took less than 10 minutes, after installing the app, to figure everything out. Looks like this is going to be a great helmet, and I LOVE the idea of being more visible to the traffic approaching from the rear.

Nice helmet fit was adjustable display bright very visible only problem was when i downloaded the app and it needed a firmware update the led display quit ,couldn't get it to work again so was granted a refund

My wife and I like to ride our e-bikes around the neighborhood and while we're at the beach. This helmet is comfortable on my round head, and the visibility of the large display is quite amazing. The phone App makes it fairly easy to customize the display, and having the handlebar mounted control to turn on the turn signal is great. I'm only a recreational rider, so I cannot speak to how well the cooling vents work if you're someone who likes to hammer down the road, but they provide enough cooling for me. Will get one for my wife once I talk her into it....

I'm really enjoying this innovative bike helmet! The safety features are outstanding, with integrated lights and turn signals that enhance my visibility while riding. It's also incredibly easy to recharge using a USB connection. The backlight is a great addition for nighttime rides. The helmet fits comfortably and is both sturdy and lightweight, making it ideal for my electric scooter. It's an excellent combination of safety and technology that gives me confidence on every journey.

This helmet could definitely be used for adults or children. It is big enough to fit either. I can’t quite figure out how to shorten the straps up. I’m sure there’s gotta be a way but I haven’t figured it out yet. However, the part that goes on the head, you can crank in or out to fit the head specifically. The panel on the back comes with a protective over it and you just pull it off and push the button inside to turn it on. It is very bright and flashes all things on it or you can use the remote to change it. I’m not sure how you would know what is on it since it is on the back of your head . This is pretty neat and my son thinks it is pretty cool. The helmet itself is very sturdy and it’s like a hard shell so it will definitely protect if you fall down and hit your head.

I cycle all year long in a major city so visibility is key for my safety. I ordered the YouRfocus LED Bike Helmet because it promised just that. Unfortunately, it failed.The helmet comes included with a remote, charging cable, instruction manual and mounting hardware. The size states One Size Fits all. I wear a size L helmet usually but this helmet barely fit on my head with the sizing all the way open. It isn't going to be useable because, even all the way opened, I had to squeeze it down making it uncomfortable. It definitely won't fie when I put on my head cover.The display (which came with a crack in it) worked when I turned it on and is very bright. There are a number of preprogrammed displays that will definitely get noticed. The remote will let you use it for turn signals to change the pattern and also to say STOP when you brake. I downloaded the app, installed it, turned on the bluetooth and tried to connect to the helmet. It took me four or five times to get it to connect. I played around with changing some of the text and, when I went to add it to the display it kept telling me to c,onnect to the helmet. At that point, the display, started to act strange and the preset display started to flicker and glitch. After a minute, it completely shut off and, no matter what I try, it won't go back on. It is basically a plain helmet at this point.I really wanted to like this helmet. It looked like it would give me the extra visibility I wanted. Unfortunately, it failed. At $90, I expected much better.
