CANON EF200mm F2.8L(1型)で安定した縦位置撮影がしたかったので購入しました。 リーズナブル(?)な価格ですがアルミ合金製(硬質プラスチックかも知れません)でとても軽く品質も悪くないです。 お得な買い物ができました。

手持ちの場合、ズームとフォーカスリングの回転をスムーズに行えない。三脚リングを付けるとクリアランスが出来て操作が容易になる。出来るだけ軽量化したいので,このABS製のものを使用している。この目的としては最適であるが、三脚マウントとしては 締め付けが甘く、ブレの可能性がありお勧めできない。

Save money for other camera gear and BUY this over OEM. Sure its made of ABS plastic, but unless you beat the pants off your equipment, it's well made and fits securely on my 70-200mm f4 IS without rattle. Matches the lens as well and I have zero complaints. I've owned all OEM in the past and I'll save my money now knowing these are quite good for the price!

Wanted a budget solution, and not have to pay a couple hundred for the canon version. It fits the lens great, it's made of plastic but seems durable enough to simply mount the lens. I feel like if you make heavy use of the tripod collar and need something rugged and durable you may want to invest in the Canon version.
