Q: Why does the image shown here says the length is 18 inches but the product description shows 17 inches? Which is correct?

The length of the Hardimon Corpsmaster stick is exactly 17"

Q: Are these white tipped?

The tips are a natural finish - there is no white paint on the tips.

Q: This drum stick is .710 in diameter. I normally play 2b's that are around .625. What is the official designation for this stick?

Thanks for reaching out! These sticks are categorized as marching sticks and used primarily with high-tension Kevlar marching snare drum heads. They don't really have a designated measurement code like drum set sticks and might be a tad heavy for use on the drum kit.
