DRESSTELLS Women's Pinup Cocktail Party Vintage Sweetheart Collar Halter 1950s Rockabilly Swing Dress

Firstly, this was delivered to me incredibly fast and I didn't need to iron it extensively (there were only a few creases - but it does get delivered in a reusable bag), which is usually an issue with other dresses ordered online, as they're usually badly creased. It also arrived before I was expecting it, which is an added bonus! I absolutely love this style of dress and was so happy to find this plain black and red one (as I have so many polka dot ones now), which I bought to wear to my university Casino-themed leaver's ball, but I'm sure I'll wear it many times - I fell in love with it once I tried it on! (The petticoat I'm wearing in the slightly shoddy phone picture was also from Dresstells - and really adds to the look!) It fits wonderfully, and is exactly as described, and goes just under the knee for me (because I'm short at 5"2). I would highly recommend this dress to anyone looking for a good quality and comfortable 50s halter. I'm a UK size 6-8 (on top), so I ordered the small, and I think it fits rather well, unlike some dresses I've ordered, which are either too big and need altering, or I can't get on! If I need another 50s halter, I'll definitely be looking with Dresstells again!

This dress is so cute, that I both bought one and was sent one for my birthday. Unfortunately the one sent to me for my birthday didn't come with the belt and I had already sent the one I ordered back :/ However it's super cute!! I'm a US 18/UK 22/EU 48 or 50 (american bra size is 40DD so it's ample on top) and this fits well. It's a bit tight but just a bit, I think sizing up would've made it too loose (there's not a size up so that works out anyway). Super impressed with the quality, it's a nice fabric, love the ribbon halter! Also appreciate the fact that it has a side zipper. The back has fantastic corset detail which is fun! Can't wait to order more! The pictures are without a petticoat so you can see it is a full skirt, even without one.

This dress was lovely. I was really worried because it was such a great price but I was pleasantly surprised. one thing would say is that the red strap around the middle is not attached to the dress but is instead like a ribbon to tie yourself. I would also say that it is on the small side. I am a size 12 and ordered a medium and although it did go on it felt very tight therefore I regretfully returned the dress. 5 star service on the return as I posted the item on Tuesday morning and by the evening a refund was on the way to my account. Will order from this seller again.

Absolutely gorgeous dress. Bought for a murder mystery party, as a dress up outfit. However it's so nice I'm going to wear it in the summer as well. The fit is great, and having a stretchy back, and tie up halter straps it's easy to adjust for a perfect fit. The skirt is full but not too much for a summer dress, and would be just as nice worn casually or dressed up. The fabric is good, not too thin, and feels good quality. I really love this dress, very flattering shape , just lovely. Definitely recommend

I was worried the dress would not fit even though I measured myself carefully & agonised over the decision as was for my Mum's 70th birthday party and would not have had time to re-order another dress. I have a petite frame, am 5ft 2'' but with a wide waist. My fears were unfounded and it fitted lovely, probably helped by fact you can tie halterneck and bodice lace at back as tight or loose as you like. I received many compliments and felt like a lady with the swooshy skirt. It came tightly packaged as mentioned by other reviewers, but did not need ironing before wearing just hanging up. Definitely needs a petticoat for the full vintage effect. I wore a black petticoat under my royal blue white polka dot dress. The black silky belt is not attached to dress, so you can change the belt if you choose. I washed it in my washing machine and its come up lovely as is made from quite thick material. So an excellent price for the quality. Overall very pleased and would definitely recommend !

The dress pattern is lovely and it looks great on the picture but the material is much thinner than expected and it's not very stretchy because some times with dresses it's nice to have a big of give so you don't feel stiff in them

I loved this dress it is both beautiful and extremely soft and silky and was as exactly as described and I definitely would recommend this lovely dress to anyone who loves the retro style

Pleasantly surprised! Item came in its own little storage bag, fabric is lovely - good quality - not thin! Satin is smooth and luxurious. Fits great, I'm a 10-12 and it fits! Well made item will certainly buy another colour - this is for 1950's theme party. Do get the underskirt as it completes the look. Dress comes just below the knee even with underskirt so not too short for those of us who don't want our knees on show! Well worth the money - you won't be disappointed!
