I have several different styles of these lamps from this seller over the past several months, and all are fabulous - this tripod lamp is certainly no exception. Adjustable height and horizontal positioning, and looks both stylish and understated with it's weathered wooden appearance and light bronze finish. It has a foot switch which makes it practical for everyday use, and it is a doddle to set up. The lamp looks superb with the lense cover which gives off a soft muted ambient light, and the air vents in the sides of the head shine fabulous horizontal rays of light to both side walls when placed in a corner, to give a stylish 'film noir' look to the room. I'd also recommend the matching table tripod lamp in this range, that looks equally impressive on a table or chest of drawers.I'd also like to add that I'm very impressed with how MHSTAR dealt with a problem that was no fault of their own, and would highly recommend this seller for peace of mind when considering a purchase. I purchased the tall & the table lamp, love them both, look more expensive than they are. Sturdy, easy to assemble in a few minutes, packed very well. Excellent value. Not to bright. Would definitely purchase lighting from this company in the future,& will highly recommend them .

Good quality lamp at a competitive price looks great in room

My partner wanted a tripod "directors" lamp for our new house so after a few weeks hunting, came across this beauty from Amazon. Very easy to assemble, shabby chic and lovely tarnished bronze effect which blends in beautifully with the wooden aspects of the lamp. The head is fully mobile and can easily be swiveled to whatever position you desire. We have ours in the corner of the lounge, pointing up to the corner and it lights the space beautifully. If reading, the head can easily be rotated to support eye health and wellbeing.In a nutshell...We love the floor lamp so much, we also ordered its 'baby brother which is in the opposite corner of the room. That is a "table top" one and sits beautifully on my corner coffee table and blends in well with the wood. Can highly recommended this one and the smaller one. Thank you!

Ordered both the large and small lamps but one was damaged in transit with a large dent in the lamp head. I managed to contact the company by phone and spoke to a real human who was very understanding and helpful and sent a replacement immediately which arrived the next day. The lamps themselves aren't the most robust I have seen but look good and for the price are extremely good value. I would certainly recommend.

I couldn’t believe how cheap this light was compared to other similar ones I have seen. I was sceptical about how sturdy it would be, but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It was so easy to put together- it literally took 2 minutes. It does not provide a huge amount of light, so you probably wouldn’t be able to read etc, however, I just wanted a light that looked nice and brighten up a dark corner in my living room and it does that job perfectly. Very pleased with it and would highly recommend it.
