Bought these for my girls who have thick hair. They look very pretty and are secure, last the whole day of playing. Clip is a good length, not too big not too small. Clip quality is great and comfortable, as they have never complained about it pulling or hurting. Only thing I will say is that using these clips for thick hair has its challenges. you will be using less hair in the clip, and it’s only for half ups. Which works fine with us.

I looked everywhere for these Good Stay Tight Barrettes, none of the stores in this area carry them. My hair is thick and the smaller barrettes and pins do not stay in. They are durable and easy to use! I am so glad I found these on Amazon.

I have such a hard time finding barrettes that don't fall out of my hair. It's so frustrating ordering them and it's expensive these days only to find out that they don't stay in my hair even though they claim to. These definitely stay in my hair.Whether i'm putting part of my hair up or all of it. And i'm not worried about them pulling my hair out either period very comfortable and great value

I have worn the 4 inch version of these classic Goody barrettes for several decades. The 4 inch ones have been the only barrettes that hold my hair comfortably without pulling it. I have been looking for more of the 4 inch ones for 20 years without success. I am down to my last one of the ones that I have had forever. When I saw these I bought them right away thinking they were those. I was disappointed to see they are only 2 inches. I will still use them, but my hair is too thick to use them the way I have the others. The metallic curved 4 inch ones I hate. They are hard to use and are uncomfortable. Goody please bring back the 4 inch ones like these! The color variety in the previous ones was nice also.

Great if you’re not looking to hold up a ton of hair. They are very nice

These used to be the perfect, classic barrette, but not any longer. They were 3 inches, now they are only 2 inches. So they do not hold the same quantity of hair and more difficult to use with thick hair. Please bring back the classic length, Goody! Goody does still have the 3-inch length in the domed metal barrettes, but the flat style is more comfortable than the domed.

These work really well for my thick hair, they stay put.

Great to be able to find classic style barrettes. Wish they would bring back the little micro barrettes for fine hair.

Check the size before buying ; size is smaller than expected and too thin clips , than shown in pic

Though Goody/Barrette is a bit expensive but they always produced good quality. I loved what I bought
