Stainless steel double oven range
This oven was delivered within the promised time period, it did have a dent on one side. Since the dent would be hidden by the cabinets, I have let this issue slide. The instruction manual for use of the oven was missing and I have called Support to have one sent to me. Online, I was able to download the instructions. The oven works wonderfully and looks good. Setting the clock is not obvious and I had to look at the instructions. The rest of the controls worked and are easily understood.

Good stove for the money
We have had our stove for a year and are generally happy with it. If tbere is any complaint it woukd be that tbe upper oven runs a little hot. Hot in that cookies are done in 10 minutes vs 12. Not thatbad of a problem :)

disappointing so far
just bought this as part of a remodel project. Had a GE profile propane range single oven, 16 yrs old never a problem, cooks great. Figured the newer model would be better. Not! stove top is fine, a flame is a flame. The griddle is nice on the middle oval burner. The ovens are a step back in convenience. Cookies, which I must say are my strength, are anemic looking and not to my liking at all. Got a thermometer and it was reading 25-30 degrees below the set temp. So we reset the breaker as apparently power surges can effect oven heating. No help. So we reset the temp guidelines, there is a way to increase or decrease the temp at a particular setting. Bumped it up by 30 degrees. Set temp to 350 and still did not get beyond 340. So jacked the temp to 375 and no help, so jacked it up to 400. at that point the cookies burned. At a straight 350 before adjustments were made it was taking up to 3 times longer to bake and did not look nice and brown on the top, but crispy on the bottoms. Tried to do convection cooking which is new to us, so still learning that mode. Back was burned and front was raw. But after about 8 batches of cookies, I am doubtful we will get the oven figured out by the time family arrives for a reunion for Christmas. Seriously thinking about returning this range. NOT happy so far, but haven't given up...yet, but my patience is wearing thin. I'll try to update the review if something amazing happens. Manual is not particularly helpful, have not found any blogs that address this problem. Also we live at 900 ft elevation so not a factor. jm/km

Broke in 3 months
If I can ensure one person does not suffer the same fate I did, I will be happy. After having this item for roughly 3 months the control panel failed( which would be fine if it did not start beeping every two minutes, which drives someone crazy). It took GE service a WEEK to come out and take 10 minutes to tell us they will have to order the parts which would take 3-5 business days to arrive well almost TWO WEEKS later they called to say the parts were in. Once the second tech arrived he quickly realized the parts that were ordered were incorrect. To top it off the replacement parts were not available and the GE would have to decide it the were going to pull the parts off the production line. But that would take 24-48 hours! So now it has been a month without a working stove. We have 3 children under 6 and a wife 8 1/2 months pregnant so to say this is a problem is an understatement. Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand and do not suffer this disaster.

Mostly love it!
So far we like this model, cooked Thanksgiving dinner in/on it, everything cooked great, had stuffing/dressing and green bean casserole in the top oven and a 13 lbs turkey (could easily fit bigger) in the bottom. The middle griddle is awesome! I have been able up to make 8 4" pancakes at once. as many as 6 pieces of French Toast, 6-7 bacons and sausage and grease did splash everywhere (same with any stovetop) but grease went in the channels and didn't overflow.Large cooking surface, grates allow for easy movement but resist slipping.Controls were easy to learn and use - would be nice is you could set volume controls because the alerts, albeit pleasant, are not very loud.Cons:Only convection in the bottom oven, also we have not had much luck with the convection oven. we tried cookies, one batch we cooked regular (w/o convection) and they turned out great. We cooked with convection and some burnt and some cooked perfectly. I thought convection was supposed to cook faster and more evenly. that said we just moved from TX to CO and we are living above 7000' for the first time, so we are learning to cook all over again. We are in our mid 40's bending all the way down to get things out of the bottom oven can be difficult, especially things like a heavy turkey.Only came with the Griddle from Lowes we want to find a grate and the middle grill, we are having difficulty finding the parts.

Do yourself a favor and look at other options
I'm an avid baker and was really excited to replace our aging electric range with a gas unit. HUGE disappointment.Pros: Gas burners and griddle - super reliable, love it.Cons: All oven problems: 1) Oven takes over 30 minutes to come to temperature. 2) Once at temperature, which it may not even achieve, it has difficulty holing temperature for duration of baking cycle, 3) Bakes unevenly, 4) Struggles to increase temperature in the middle of baking cycle when requested. We've had the unit for 15 months and GE service has been here twice. I'm currently working with GE to buy back this unit - utter junk.

Poor performance, cooking and baking.
Poor burner control (too high or too low and no in-between), Broiler hardly worked (took 20 + minutes to broil a hamburger). Oven temps ranged wildly and could be 30 - 40 degrees off. I could never get crispy veggies or potatoes because it didn't seem to work on a higher temperature. Cakes and cookies came out flat no matter how I adjusted recipe and temp. Had 4 service calls in the first 3 months. Problems were never fixed. When I took this issue up with the store, the salesperson told me that the broiler isn't really meant to do much since G.E. scaled back its output to keep the energy rating higher (the repair guy told me this too). Also was told that the 1-10 numbered dial on the burners is only meant to amuse the customer and that it really only has two temperatures - high and low! A piece of junk. But if you only use it to heat up leftovers and scramble and egg, it can do that.
