The product works as advertised on mature wide leaf grasses such as crabgrass. I just wish it was available in a concentrate suitable for the small residential pressure sprayers. I have 50 year old acre of lawn with a strong base of fescue and bluegrass but it has become overrun. I've used a few bottles so far and is working very well and will probably need a few more bottles. However I am not looking forward to treating an acre of land one manual hand squirt at a time. UPDATED: Three of the last four bottles I purchased arrived without the hand sprayer as shown in the photo on the side of the bottle. This did not affect me as I dump them into a pressure sprayer now, but I would be unhappy if I didn't have my own sprayer. I still think it's a great herbicide for the intended purpose but the (sometimes) attached hand sprayer is mediocre at best for larger areas.

Knocked the crabgrass out! Takes about 4 or 5 days to see everything turn white - and after a couple of weeks the crabgrass is simply gone.

I am revising my review of this product, but left the original below for comparison. I might have been a little hasty in my review by not allowing enough time to elapse for the product to work. Typically any sort of weed killer only takes 24 hours to begin showing its effects. With this in mind, after 48 hours I hadn't seen any effect from the Roundup Crabgrass destroyer. However, after three or four days I am beginning to see its effects. The areas that I sprayed are beginning to yellow and turn white. I have changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. Crabgrass is a problem in the midwest, and it's that time of year where if you don't get a handle on it, then it can easily take over your yard. Even as a lawn "enthusiast" who goes through all the stages of treatment throughout the year, the crabgrass has been especially bad. I was hoping that a product labeled "crabgrass destroyer" was going to be the solution, but alas, this product did absolutely ZERO in killing crabgrass. Surely Roundup isn't lying to us with their advertising. Hmmm.

This is the only product I have found that kills all the problem grasses. I didn't understand why I was spraying for crabgrass and nothing was happening. I discovered I had goosegrass and johnson grass along with crabgrass. You need to be patient with this product. Once you spray it might take 2 to even 3 weeks before the product works. The invasive grasses will slowly turn white then brown and eventually disappear. The total time is about a month from spraying. In the beginning, I kept spraying every week and was just wasting product by not allowing it time to work.

The product likely works fine due to the active ingredient, but I wanted to highlight something not obvious to me. Pull the red connector at the bottom of the spray handle to extend the applicator hose
