My hubby & I love our new truck tent. Whoever designed it was genius! Plenty of space inside for 2 adults & a regular queen air mattress. We were unsure how it'd go until we assembled it & used it for the first time a month ago. Even though we didn't get it perfect during our first set up (in the dark), it kept us comfy & dry overnight during a light rain. Next time set up will be a breeze! Very easy to break down, roll up & repack in the included bag.Recently bought the umbrauto full size truck air mattress with pillows, so we're excited to try that out on our next camping trip.Overall, we're delighted with this purchase & have recommended it to our friends. If you're on the fence about it, just buy it - you'll likely love it as much as we do. Worst case, if you don't, simply return it. Easy peasy.

This tent is a really cool concept, but if you are short, difficult to assemble. The instructions say to try assembling on the ground if doing it directly in the truck does not work. We tried both ways. Neiter were much easier than the other but on the truck, instructions did make the tent lay out smoother. When it came to standing it upright on the truck, it definitely needs two people. The biggest disappointment were the rods or polls that hold up the end umbrella portion. The way it was designed makes sense if the poles were to be put into the ground. But these were not long enough to go into the ground so the rest on the rear of the truck tailgate. This scratched the crap out of the new plastic liner of the tailgate. The opening of the tent needs to be a bit bigger or longer or something. The tent really got stretched at the seams putting it up. We are in our 50's and that was way more work than any tent we have ever owned. But it did look cool. Oh, and don't forget to bring a step to get up in the tent, we used the cooler.

I have an F350 and the bed is longer than this is built for (6'-10" for Super Duty), but I figured I could get it to work, and I did. It simply ends up being 3" short of the end of the tailgate. Take that into account if it's going to rain - i mean, water is not going to run further than the edge of the tailgate, in any case. I wish they made a slightly bigger one for those of us with Super Duty trucks, but no one does, that I've found. Anyway, we set it up on the ground and then lifted it into the bed. That worked well. The first one I got had some tiny holes in the roof (a manufacturing defect). I emailed photos to customer service and they quickly sent me another tent with no hassle, and I don't even have to return the first one.. I love that the seams are all sealed with tape, unlike many tents. I have a Bed Rug with attached tailgate carpet. That makes it impossible to use the rear middle strap since there is no gap between the bed and tailgate to run it through. I don't see that as a problem for my use. If you had really high winds, then I guess you could cut a small slit in the rug to run the strap through, or just set something heavy inside the door.
