This pump seems great for shallow or deeper water and is quick to setup in an emergency.
AUTOMATIC SUMP PUMP:OVERVIEW: This item is an 1/2hp automatic submersible sump pump. This pump uses an e-valve to know when to turn off and on. I was not having an emergency that required a sump pump so I created a pretend one on my driveway. I filled a tub with water. In general I was impressed with this pump. It worked well in deep or shallow water and I did not have to position and adjust a manual float valve.INSTALL: Install is easy as you choose the correct fittings for the type of hose or tubing you are using. You ready the pump to be submerged and plug it (as there is no power switch) and submerge it in water. If your pump has a e-valve like this one, you ready to go.THE DETAILS: For testing I used a 100’ WaterRight garden hose with a watering nozzle on the end. The pump stared right up yet only put out a trickle. This tells me that I needed a bigger diameter hose. Turns out the pump actually does need a bigger diameter hose to work properly. With a “normal” diameter garden hose, the pump pumped fine and efficiently brought the tub water down.FINAL NOTE: This pump seems great for shallow or deeper water and is quick to setup in an emergency. The E-valve makes this in winner in my test.I hope this helps…

Fast pumping. No GHT fittings included.
I am using this for a small hydroponics run off sump, as pictured. My application needed a garden hose connection so the white adapter is one I already had. This pump did not include one.Pumping was very fast and I would say "medium" loudness. Of course it would be a lot more quiet fully submerged or in a below ground sump. The float switch did not really work IN MY APPLICATION as it did not have a good hysteresis to prevent repeated cycling of the pump. The documentation says it comes on at 2 1/3" and goes off at 3/4". Without a check valve (which is in the included larger fittings) my drain back from the hose caused it to repeat cycle. So one should definitely consider a one way valve when ordering their needed parts. I am ordering a one-way GHT valve now and I think this will be perfect. When running i noticed a leak around the case as pictured in my images. This may be by design to prevent siphoning or some other hydraulic need.

PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS
So I have 2 fish tanks and a hot tub... clearly it was time for a pump. I didnt NEED it to be submersible but I figured that would help a lot if I ever needed it in an emergency situation. It's pretty much plug and play and it moves water FAST. The hot tub is in an airbnb so I find myself constantly draining and refilling for sanitation, although the hot tub has a drain this works literally 5x faster. I mean this thing really is just so versatile in any situation where you need to move water. Totally worth every penny since its saving me so much time and my poor fish arent just having a crazy strong water dump from a bucket like they used to. Feels really solid and like it will last a long time but if and when it dies I will certainly be back for another.

Good quality and works great
This pump has more plastic than my 20 years old pump, but it might be better since it is meant to be submerged, so less corrosion the better. Speaking of less, this pump does not have any of the "toilet float" assembly that most store bought sump pumps have, this one uses a slider that's inside the housing and seems to be much less complicated and efficient, and nothing sticks out of the pump housing, this may make it less serviceable in the future, but requires much smaller well area for install . It pumps water about 8 feet higher than the pump itself without issues. The mesh carry bag that doubles as a "filter" is interesting and somewhat effective for keeping larger debris out, but looks a bit cheesy compared to how advanced the rest of the pump is. But, looks aside, this pump works great.

InoKraft E-float Automatic Sump Pump 1/2HP, 2500 GPH Submersible Water Pump with Auto/Manual Mode.
Powerful 1/2 HP motor really moves the water from one place to another. Replaced a 1/4 HP unit that didn't have a floater but was still pretty effective at making sure the cellar stayed nice and lowtide while we got hit with rainstorm after rainstorm.Easy to setup and not hard to put into place and easily adjustable to the water levels to the best setting you need. The 24ft cord eliminated the need for an extension cord to keep it plugged in at all times, and we could also hook it up to our generator or solar power system if needed in times of heavy rains and storms again. The noise level is reasonable like most of these modern pumps, and we will eventually have PVC pipe installed permanently to insure not having to worry about hoses or where it's going ot drain to in the first place. The cellar is really old in this particular house and was buried during a remodel that added onto the home and they failed to seal the outside of the cellar walls, so instead we now have to double coat the inside of the cellar walls to stop the concrete from allowing water to pentetrate through it and fill it up.Good quality and powerful pump at a very great value (at the time of this purchase and review, but subject to change at any time.) Thumbs up!

Powerful Pump
This Pump has the Power. I dropped it into our pool as our sump was dry ,so the only to test it was the pool. This thing is a beast ..it pumps the water fast. It is quiet but the water probably muffles the sounds of the motor. It functions as I had hoped it would, although I have no idea if it automatically would work in the sump as as stated it's bone dry. This seems to be a quality tool which I think is safe to say will operate fantastically in it's designed application. (clear the E float chamber before running)

InoKraft E-float Automatic Sump Pump 1/2HP, 2500 GPH Submersible Water Pump
Great pump. I had to wait for some bad weather but now I know this is exactly what I needed. I have a porch area that was done horribly wrong and water goes nowhere near the drain. I set this up with a short hose that dumps into the drain. Now just a tiny spot has a bit of water that the daytime sun will dry out. Before it would be days of unwanted mosquito infested ick.Good features, good connecting options. Can be used in portable or semi-permanent installs. Price is fair.
