Game changer
Flagship piece of kit all the way around what a game changer for us to guitar guys to be able to record while you’re sitting in the room with your family and not bother anyone and them not bother you and get perfectly sounding guitar recordings with all these different types of amps speakers while you use your amplifier You can set your speakers in another room and change out different speakers to the software for recording and room microphones believable not even speaking of the actual reactive load that allows you to fool your expensive tube head. Thank it has a speaker hooked to it it is a must have.

Amazing
Enough options to not be overbearing. I had one of the other popular boxes and it was to convoluted for me. I’m not a knob fiddler I’m a get to it and play. Well worth the money.

Game changer!
This thing sounds amazing right out of the box! It's completely changed the way I record and just can't say enough about it. I'm looking forward to using it in a live setting where I can attenuate my head and run a line out to the mixer. Haven't even begun to play with the onboard effects yet.

12/18 - Still no Windows / Android support - UPDATE 07-09-19 WINDOWS 10 SUPPORT NOW AVAILABLE
December 2018 - still no windows / android support. Unless you have a mac / ipad (iphone doesn't work), then $1.2k is a lot to pay for a power soak. It's a great power soak, but that's all it does if you don't have the Apple gear to go with. I bought this in March 2018 and I'm seriously annoyed at this point. Also worth mentioning no V30s / 1960A or Boogie 4x12 cab emulations, so if you're in to high gain, this is nowhere near good. The UAD marketing guys are doing a great job, but this product is a year in and still not ready for market.OK - UPDATE JULY 19, 2019 - Windows 10 support now available (still no android). App is beautiful and works great. Have to concede that this thing is amazing. Presets - and there are far more of them than anticipated - are really great. Sound is incredible. It's a must have. I would give it 5 stars but I'm still bitter that I had to miss out on the core functionality for 15 months or so given the delay in rolling out Windows support. Oh, and we still need some V30 cabs in the mix. Seems a strange oversight on their part.

Exactly what I needed, sounds great!
This thing sounds amazing. My little guitar amp sounds much bigger now (and more expensive). \m/

Disappointed
The short, the attenuation feature loses so much fidelity, it's not worth it for the attenuation feature. On top of that, and I don't see this mentioned much, any of the tonal configurations you alter, speaker cabs, room ambiance, reverb, delay...none of that is mixed with the signal sent out of the attenuated speaker output. It's just a dry signal that sounds muddy. I get it for the convenience of recording your tube amp, but that's only where its useful. You can't have a similar sounding recorded signal to your attenuated signal. And for the price, not sure it's worth that. I can't stress enough how bad it is an attenuator. Sounds awful. My 40w tube amp sounds better turned down than it does turned up through the attenuator.

Being used as an attenuator it alters your tone really bad
I tried to use it with EVH 5150 amp (50w) + EVH 5150 2x12 cab. It alters the tone so badly on low to mid "speaker output" settings that the amp sounds really bad, like the cheapest overdrive pedal. Only being set to 5 (which is max) it sounds very close to original, but what's the point of it if I can't use it on lower settings? All these youtube videos praising this device is just plain lies. Instead a cheap 50 bucks volume pedal in effects loop does the trick and the amp sounds good.I haven't tried its cab emulation features.

A definite piece of gear to buy!
If you have to play quietly in your home, you must get this. Best recommendation! It is awesome
