This shampoo and smoothing treatment from Lana Brasiles was absolutely amazing. As someone with hair that has been fried by bleach, dye, and heat, the smoothing treatment was the best thing I could give my hair. It does take some time to apply, as you need to section your hair and let the smoothing treatment apply for 20-50 min but the end results are so dramatic. My hair looks lush, sleek, and shiny like I just negated years of damage. I'm loving the after effects, especially how it straightened out my locks a fair bit.

Does not work, toxic ingredients, terrible smell.

My wife has fairly dry, frizzy hair, and I thought this might be a good shampoo and conditioner for her to try. After receiving it, I discovered that it is actually a shampoo and professional TREATMENT for straightening hair. It is meant to straighten out curls and waves, which isn’t what my wife wanted at all. Also, if we were to use this, it takes at least 20 minutes to do the treatment which is hard to squeeze in when having a busy household. So if you want a professional treatment at your own home and have the time available, this may be great. But if you want to keep your waves, then I’d pass on it like we did.
