Nice quality!
Beautiful mat, nice and heavy. My friend has one and it is half the weight of this one. It does smell for a few weeks but after leaving it out unrolled every day the smell has almost gone away. I mainly do hot yoga and I sweat more than anyone. This does get grippier as you get sweat on it. The mat does slide around slightly but for the most part stays put. When you unroll it and lay it out it lays down nice and flat. I don't love using a yoga mat towel for my sweat so this mat has been a game changer

Feels amazing
I agonized over buying such an expensive yoga mat (and I didn't even get the one with the coffee), but I am SO glad I did. The "feel" of doing yoga on something natural like this mat compared to the relatively awful feeling of a synthetic material is like the difference between doing yoga on grass versus AstroTurf. Just touching and being on this mat is probably some form of grounding. In addition to the great "feel," you don't slide when you get warm or sweaty (you actually stick better), and the mat doesn't stretch under you or get any kind of smell. (I have terrible circulation and I will slide a little in down dog before my hands warm up, so I sometimes have to bring my hands a little closer to my feet to compensate for that.)This mat is not light and therefore not good for traveling in my opinion - it weighs 5 pounds. But I love it enough I would bring it on an extended trip if I knew I was going to be doing yoga frequently.

Best I've ever owned
I've had this mat for 2.5 years and have been practicing yoga for 2 decades—this is by far the best mat I've ever owned and I can't imagine ever using anything else. I take hot yoga in very packed studios and am the only one without a microfiber towel covering my mat. Towards the end of a 90 minute class I will use a towel, mostly because I myself am so sweaty and don't want to do floor poses on the mat that would require a deep clean, but otherwise it really is as slip resistant as they say. It simply cannot be absolutely non slip as that goes beyond the laws of nature but it's better than anything I've ever used. Everyone in class asks me about this mat. Don't hesitate.

Love Hot Yoga But You Sweat Buckets? This Mat is for You!
Arrived very well packaged. Rolled out flat straight from the box. Zero odor! I haven't used it yet, but it feels like a very high-quality mat. The mat is heavier than my other mats. But not too heavy to use and carry around.Update ~ used it in a hot yoga and zero issues even though my hands and feet get extremely sweaty. I’m shocked I do not see more of these mats in class.

Doesn’t hold up in Hot 8 Yoga heat!
This is the second non slip hot yoga mat I’ve but and the second one that has proven to not hold up in really high heat. Hot 8 Yoga studios are notoriously hot and in the hottest class I’ve taken thus far it actually melted my mat. I think the heat has damaged the material and now it’s no longer grippy and I slip around in my pool of sweat (for the first month and a half this was not an issue!). It’s in the heavier side but the cushion made up for it and I only used it when driving to the studio. I’m sure it works great in regular heated studio but not anything on the hotter than hot side.

Perfect for postpartum/pregnancy exercises
The yoga mat has the perfect balance between comfort and support. I am doing daily postpartum Yoga, and my old mat is too soft, which makes it hard to balance. I have been using the new mat for a week. I wish I got this mat while I was pregnant when I spent a ton of time on the Yoga mat.I did have to air the mat out for 2 days before the natural rubber smell subsides. As soon as it did, the mat smells quite nicely with a subtle hint of expresso. I am very sensitive to smell, and this is a big win for me. I used my old TPE mat for over 5 years, and it still has a strong chemical smell till this day. The natural materials used in the Cork Collective mat would have been a lot better for long term use. During pregnancy, I was even more sensitive to chemical smell. As the rubber mat is about 4mm thin, it took me a couple of times to get used to it. My knee feels the ground more when I first use it. But it got better overtime. The thinner mat provides better balance when standing on one foot. Postpartum exercises focus more on the lower body and pelvic floor strength. The better control and balance is essential, as the core muscles are recovering. When I was pregnant, I also use the yoga ball a lot. With the thinner mat, it would have been a lot easier to add the ball on top and kneel on the mat with arms lying on the ball. It was the best way for me to stretch the upper back with the gigantic pregnant belly. My favorite part is the texture on the surface. It is genius to mix coffee grounds with cork. I love the aesthetics of the natural pattern. Most importantly, the coffee grounds part has a more granular texture that is also more slip resistant as a result. Happy with the purchase. This will be my go-to mat.

One of the most aesthetic and functional yoga mat I bought’
Perfect Blend of Function and Design!I recently got this Coffee Yoga Mat and it's amazing. The grip is top-notch; it sticks to the floor without sliding around, no matter the move. I even took it to a few hot yoga classes, and to my surprise, it performed incredibly well in the humid conditions, keeping its grip without any slip. That was a real game-changer for me.The design is unique too, made with recycled coffee grounds and cork, which is both eco-friendly and looks great. What's really special is the subtle coffee scent. Doing yoga with this gentle aroma makes the whole experience even more relaxing. The thickness is just right too, not too hard or soft, so it's comfy for my knees and hands. The only downside is it's a bit heavier than my previous mats, but that's a small price to pay for the quality and sustainable materials used. All in all, I'm really happy with this mat and would recommend it to anyone.aroma makes the whole experience even more relaxing.
