This motor is a perfect fit and is actually quieter than when we original had the a/c installed. We live in SC and our fan motor died in August... wow, it's was hot. The customer service is top notch as well and they went out of their way to make sure I didn't waste money on additional shipping. Really good product and great company.

*IF* this came with stainless steel nuts, to fasten the top of the motor to the fan grill, and *IF* the wiring colors matched their corresponding locations, and *IF* it came with wiring schematics, I would have given this five stars.After a few more trips than necessary, to walk back and forth, turning the system on and off, until the wiring allowed the fan to blow upwards... AND after a trip to the hardware store to get stainless steel nuts... The motor seems to be working just fine. Nice and quiet.Come on guys... If you can supply a quality fan, it's really not a stretch to ask for FOUR stainless steel nuts!I'm adding a shot of it running, along with the old motor.

This is an excellent upgraded replacement for my 20 y.o. fan motor that recently bit the dust. Fit is exactly as original, including shaft length and wiring.On a negative note, the ad stated next-day delivery but it was not delivered until the second day. I can't really blame the product or seller, but the amazon listing should accurately list the delivery times before the purchase.
