I am very pleased with the clock mechanism because it keeps accurate time. The chime function is reliable and produces a very realistic Westminster chime. It’s been working well since November of 2022.

Works but incomplete instructions which will result in trigger not aligned with hour (in fact instructions don't say anything about trigger). To trigger on the hour you must install hands and rotate the minute hand and listen for the click where the trigger occurs. Then uninstall hands and reinstall them so that the click is aligned with minute hand at 12 PM. If you try to rotate the minute hand shaft without installing the minute hand to find where the click occurs you risk damaging the clock shaft. So you really do have to install and then uninstall and reinstall the hands, which are delicate and easy to damage.

This unit just what I needed. Has the 2 wires needed for the hourly bird sounds. Easy to install. Keep hands straight so one doesn't interfere with another.

Tikround Youngtown 12888 step quartz movement worked well. Just make sure that you get the chimes ringing on the right hours. It is supposed to automatically shut off the chimes at night. There is a difference in AM and PM. It's possible to get them backwards where the chime is going off all night instead of all day. This is not clearly spelled out in the instructions.

Looked good, installed easily, and does not run consistently. Was possibly a defective unit but I am to busy to bother to send back. Guess i should of bought a better quality unit, this one was inexpensive.

Used to repair my Harley-Davidson Clock which had died a few years ago. Worked perfectly once I'd got the hands aligned with the chimes, did as the instructions said and set the hands to 12 o'clock when first fitting the movement but found the chimes were out sync to the hands. So took a bit of patience to set up correctly and used the original hands as they fitted the stem.

So for other customers who buy this package: this clock mechanism has 2 blue wires that are the chime trigger to solder to the old trigger wire connections on your chime. See bottom chime item inside of my clock. Then the red (+) wire from your chime must get soldered onto the (+)terminal towards the top so the battery will still fit in later. See new clock mechanism top item of inside of clock. Then the black (-) wire from your chime must get soldered onto the (-)terminal towards the back so battery will fit in. Also use the clock hands from your old clock mechanism as they fit perfectly.

After a 2 week wait I was very pleased that this arrived the day after it was expected. It was extremely easy to install. (Didn't need my husband to do it for me). After having a broken clock sitting at 5 o'clock for the past two years I am extremely happy to have this beautiful piece of furniture back in working order. Thank you thank you
