Boston Gear H2412 Spur Gear, 14.5 Pressure Angle, Steel, Inch, 24 Pitch, 0.250" Bore, 0.583" OD, 0.250" Face Width, 12 Teeth

Gear is a 42 tooth gear but the shaft is flush with the gear, not like the picture on amazon. The 2 gears in the picture are shown as the same on amazon with a different teeth count. The S means that it’s a flat gear and the H has a shaft with pin hole. Maybe a different picture for different gears would stop any confusion.

This gear was a replacement for a pair of electric rollers. It was a exact match and works just like new.

Great quality gear, but: 1) the engineering drawings are wrong -- the set screw cannot be a 10-32, it's something closer to a 6-xx, although even that is too large to fit; 2) no set screw was included; and 3) it doesn't seem like the set screw hole is threaded. Had to force an oversized screw into the hole to get it to attach to the shaft.

nothing cheap about this gear. I found others out there that were 30 bucks more and not as nice. Quality.
