can u get 60 ft of coaxial cable instead of 40 ft

I am sorry that it is 40ft only. But I would like to tell you how to extend the cable. You can use your regular RG6 cable, as long as you make sure there is no splitter in between the connection. You can use an F-F coupler (Splice Adapter, see following picture) if you need to extend your cable or connect the cable from the antenna to the cable that built in the way. Contact the manufacturer, they will give you a free splitter for giving them a good review. They also sell several different splitters for their antennas.

What is this directional antenna's beam width? Alternately, is there a graphic showing the antenna pattern?

I can't answer this specifically, but I do find it is quite directional for distant stations which are mostly in one direction from me, and the local stations are strong enough it doesn't really matter which way I point it. If you have distant stations all points from you, I'd recommend adding a rotor control to point it where you need to.
