I needed XL gunmetal eyelets that I could use in my custom bag business . Unfortunately whenever I would do a search for the eyelets the item description would always show eyelet/grommet used for bag making. If you are using thin fabrics with no interfacing these would probably work fine. But my bags are constructed with sturdy interfacing and the neck of these simply would not go through all of the fabric. In spite of them not working for the purpose I was hoping to use them for they are good enough for other light weight home decor such as a shower curtain, I will give a rating of 4.

Maybe I’m not using it right because it doesn’t stay on very well for me!! I bought the grommet tool too to put this in place (sweater) and when I pull the string/cord to tighten up my sweater, the fabric gets pulled out from the grommet!

As advertised and can be used on a variety of projects from curtains to clothes

At first I thought it was too dark, but its actually perfect once I put everything together :) I bought a kit at Joann's and this eyelet works so much better. Will order again, thank you!
