Worked well for 4 days spent poolside in 104° temps
I purchased this specifically for the Zinc/ mineral based SPF factor. There are not a lot of great options for a sun BLOCK lip balm. This is about the highest SPF I could find, in a tube/stick applicator. We use 70 and 50 alternatively and apply often for our bodies and face, but we needed an extra layer for the lips. (They really are very delicate tissues)We like the texture, I didn't notice a flavor or odor, so I guess that's good right? I did not see any white cast to it and honestly I would not care if it did, I just want a sun block for my lips while we are poolside. It worked well.A slight tingly feeling to my lips for the first 30 seconds when applying it, but it did not sting or irritate my skin/lips.We went 4 days of poolside lounging and swimming with about 5-6 hours a day at the pool. We were in and out of the shade, in and out of the water, at at very dry desert Nevada 104° sunny location. We reapplied about every 1.5 - 2 hours, or if we felt like we needed it after eating or drinking something. We did not burn nor peel, our lips were soft and great.I will keep using it and will likely purchase again, when needed. It's a good brand.Aside from straight up old fashioned white or colored lifeguard zinc sticks, this is a less "clown like makeup" option.

Lip balm
Lip balm was very moisturizing and I believe it has helped with protecting my lip from the sun it does leave a white cast but soon dissolves!

Okay product for price
It's a cheap spf balm that does it's job. In my opinion, it's not completely moisturising so if you're looking for a balm to moisturise your lips this wouldn't be my FIRST choice. However, it's not entirely drying either. During my experience, my lips still felt a bit dry while using it and it does leave a white cast on lips for a bit as well.

Great protective coverage UV
This is a great product I use to protect my lips from the UV - once applied it hydrates my lips too.

best mineral spf on the market
Finally. An unscented, unflavored, mineral-only lip balm with a high spf that is actually moisturizing to the lips. It's perfect. Wears completely clear with no bluish-white cast on the lips and is comfortable to wear all day so I don't feel like scraping it off as soon as I come back from my walks like I do with other brands.

Works Okay
It’s really hard finding a good SPF for your lips!Previously, I used the Burt's Bees All Weather lip balm (SPF 15) but it left a horrible white cast on my lips that made them look purple. I hated it, and began trying lots of different ones. The Aquaphor one in the tube was not moisturizing enough, I felt like it dried really fast. I also found I did not like the tube applicator, it seems unsanitary. Same for the Jack Black one. I tried the chemical sunscreen version of Sun Bum's lip balm, but it was greasy, not moisturizing, and the fragrance was cloying. This mineral version is a lot better than that one, I will say. It does leave a white film but not as bad as other lip balms. The more coats I put on, the worse it gets, so I only put on one or two layers at a time. This one is also way more moisturizing because it’s more wax based, not oil, like their chemical version. But the problem with the mineral one is that it makes my lips tingle when I first apply it. It does go away after a few minutes, but I’m worried that it's not a good sign. Because of that, my search continues for a new SPF lip balm, but I will use this in the meantime.

Soft safe lips!
If you are looking for sun protection for your lips without them feeling like you have caked on wax, SunBum lip sunscreen is for you. This unscented lip sunscreen was perfect for our autistic son who is very particular about smells, texture and things on his lips. It is a definite sensory approved lip sunscreen by him!Pros:We went to the Outerbanks and our son applied it each morning before we went out and never complained! Yay!! He loved the picture on the front, he is 18 by the way.He said to add as a pro it is smooth on his lips and doesn’t feel like he has anything sticking to them, haha. That’s huge! He, without me telling him later in the afternoon applied it if we went out for late afternoon things. But, overall NO burns on his lips at all.It a complete win.Buy this product. We love sunbum! And the ingredients are all natural.I really don’t have any cons for this one, it never melted in the heat of the sun all day while we were out or anything. So just buy it. It’s a great price.

It is a nice balm for sunblock coverage.
I bought this because it has zinc in it, which I need due to having precancerous cells on my lip. This balm provides the coverage my dermatologist told me to get. It glides on smoothly and doesn't have a color so I can wear this with my lip gloss.
