Shower Curtain Rod Tension- No Drill Non-Slip Spring Tension Shower Rod for Window or Bathroom, 54-90 inches Metal Steel, Light Gold

I spent a ridiculous amount of time researching gold shower curtain rods. I settled on this one because it is a two piece rod as opposed to some of the other rods sold on this site that come in four or five pieces and I saw it had excellent reviews. The color did not disappoint. It is a lovely, soft brushed gold color. Incredibly easy installation took all of two minutes to get it up on the wall and it seems secure so far.

I bought both the gold and light gold. Light gold is brushed and slightly more matte. Gold is more light reflective and more of a rich color. I’ll be keeping the gold because it’s a very close match to the Kohler Gold that my bathroom faucets have. Both are great- I just needed one more than the other. Haven’t tested the durability or ease of use yet, however, I like that it’s not in a ton of pieces like the last one I ordered. It feels more substantial and seems to be the quality of any decent tension rod I’ve had. Photos for gold vs brushed gold comparison purposes!

We've had this rod for about two weeks and so far, it has been great. I'm interested to see how rust-resistant it is over time, but the size is good for a standard shower, and it seems sturdy. We purchased additional support to keep the rod from falling, but the tension alone seems to be good. The gold matches well with the CHICTIE Gold Shower Curtain Hooks also purchased from Amazon.

Exceeded all my expectations! I’ve had this hanging for a YEAR now and it’s held STRONG! I’ve had PLENTY of weight put on it and it hasn’t budged! So easy to install! So cute!

Looks great, matches Kohler brushed gold fixtures, but rusts pretty easily. It's not too expensive, so, you get what you pay for.

Sturdy and easy to install. Gave the bathroom a clean and updated look.

purchased this shower curtain rod exactly one year ago, and I’m really disappointed with how it has held up. The product description promises “premium thick metal steel + anti-rust coating” with “4-layer upgraded anti-rust” protection, but my rod is now completely rusted. My bathroom is well-ventilated and has an exhaust fan, so moisture buildup isn’t excessive. Despite that, the rod still corroded far sooner than expected. For something marketed specifically as anti-rust, I expected it to last much longer. The rod looked nice at first, but the poor durability makes it hard to recommend. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t purchase this again.

It is a nice looking rod. It was very easy to install and I really like its golden color.

My walls are 41 inches apart. This was described as being suitable up to 43 inch. That is not true. Fully extended, it is less than 39 inch long and to be able to attach it, with tension, I believe only walls that are 38 inch apart would be possible.
