If the shoe fits, wear it!
These are a very comfortable pair of shoes. The quality is very nice. Their arch support is quality, maiing them very much worth the money. The shoes were only offered in whole sizes, I am a 9.5. I got a 10. They still seem to fit well and actually seem to be more comfortable than my last pair of 9.5s. The laces seem to be decent and don't come untied as easily while walking and wearing as some other shoe laces. So far, I like them.

Punches above their weight class
Don't be misled by the fact that you don't recognize the name: ANTA is the #3 largest sportswear manufacturer in the world. Behind only Nike and Adidas, they're bigger than the big names you recognize, like Puma, Under Armour, New Balance, and Lululemon, and they own some of the most well-respected brand in sportswear, like Arc'Teryx and Salomon. And now they have their sights set on the US market, with a flagship store opening soon in Beverly Hills.Suffice it to say, when I saw the first pair of ANTA shoes to hit Amazon, the PG7 running shoes, I was incredibly excited to get to try them without paying major overseas shipping costs. The PG7 is a max-cushioning running shoe; the obvious comparisons are to the Hoka Bondi and Asics Gel Nimbus. Details are scant on the midsole of the PG7, but it's pretty clearly a typical EVA or TPU with a super high stack height. Compared to the other shoes, the PG7 has significantly less energy return, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was no midsole shank at all (the Nimbus has a TPU shank and current Bondi has a carbon fiber shank). Most folks aren't using a max-cushioning shoe for threshold runs or any kind of serious training though, so for what you expect this kind of shoe to provide (a soft ride for recovery runs and step-in comfort for daily wear), it gets the job done, at a price point significantly lower than its current competition. The shoe fits true to size in length and is extremely generous in width, particularly in the toe box but throughout the length of the shoe. I typically go a half-size up in running shoes not available in 2E, but that was definitely not necessary in this shoe (I have to crank down and heel lock the laces to keep my feet from floating inside). Step-in comfort is plush, with a thick heel counter and tongue and a typical soft-touch insole. The outsole is quite rugged and covers just about the entire sole (vs the smoother partial-coverage outsoles of the competition), so I expect they will wear quite a bit better than the others; the EVA will probably bottom out well before the outsole is spent. Styling is nothing special, but the gray/blue colorway is understated and tasteful enough in its markings and appointments. The mesh upper is breathable and cool, on par with the competition. In all, the PG7 is a budget shoe that shouldn't give you anything to complain about, and a nice low-end entry into the US market. At MSRP, you'll probably only find cheaper max-cushion runners in the Skechers line, but you certainly won't find a shoe as full-featured as this one. Looking forward to see what else ANTA has in store as they expand their offerings!

So soft and comfortable
I was blown away by these anta pg7s.So i buy adidas majority of the time. I have several ultraboosts models and to me that’s the most comfortable casual running/walking shoes. When i have to go to a theme park where i have to walk all day racking up about 13k steps, my go to shoes for all-day comfort is the ultraboost.I may have found a good contender in these pg7s.The sizing is TTS- i’m usually 8.5 in mens, and gets 9 in ultraboost because those run narrow/small. I got these pg7s in 8.5 and to me the sizing if perfect.Aside from the sizing, the comfort level is just on par with the ultraboost. It has more cushion than the UB but feels about the same weight. Even trying it on without socks, i can already tell that it is going to have all-day comfort. The midsole is MASSIVE. At first i was not too sold on how bulky it looks. But trying it on and walking on them you wouldnt even be able to tell the difference. The overall silhouette is just fantastics on these anta’s. If you are looking for a close alternative to adidas’ ultraboosts, these pg7s are a great value. It has the tru form and function of a running shoes with your wallet in mind.

Decent Entry Level Running Shoe
Overall the shoe is comfortable and does not have a cheap feel. Each person has a different foot so for me the shoe hurt my arches a little and I will be putting in an aftermarket orthotic, which I do for all my shoes. The shoe is well cushioned and the toe box is nice and wide. The shoe's listing implies that this is a Wide width shoe, but on the manufacturers website they do not carry wide widths and the shoe box and shoe itself is designated by a size number with no width designation at all. There are many specs that are absent so I have no idea what the drop of the shoe is, the forefoot and heal stack height, weight, and type of foam used. I would say that the shoe is more of a neutral runner than a stability shoe. The non-slip outsole is interesting, I have not seen that on another running shoe that was not a trail shoe.Overall, it reminds me of an entry level running shoe from one of the major brands, but is missing the technical features and performance of more expensive models. At the current price point it is a fair value, with the caveat that it is too early to determine how the shoe will hold up over time and how much mileage I will get out of it.

So much comfort!
My husband says he loves these! He has worn them a few times now and says they are the most comfortabke pair of sneakers he has ever owned! They are light weight and have good foot support and cushion. He says he feels like he is walking on the clouds barefoot. He loves that they are wide and allow his feet to expand inside assuring his feet aren't sore after a long day of walking. He highly recommends them!

So comfortable!
I got these shoes for my son who normally wears a size 9.5 in Nikes. These shoes fit just a tad bigger but they are also a 'wide' fit so that could be why. But they are SO comfortable, it is like walking on clouds, you can tell they are high quality shoes. They do add a couple inches of height to you though, my son loved this but just know they make you a couple inches taller!Overall I think these are very close in comparison to the big brand name tennis shoes, I think they are worth the price for a good all around tennis shoe.
