These pants are amazing in rainy weather! I wore them on my 15-day trip to Alaska, Canada, & the Pacific Northwest. It rained at least a little bit every single day of our 10-day cruise in Alaska/Canada. I wore these pants every day (along with waterproof boots & a waterproof jacket) and stayed completely dry! On the really cold days, I wore fleece leggings, jeans, and then I put these pants over the top, and I was comfortable the whole time. These are loose-fitting and lightweight: good by themselves for warmer rainy days and definitely great for putting over the top of other pants on cold days. These pants were one of my favorite purchases for this trip; I'm so happy I bought them! I am 5'0" but the elastic ankles kept these in place & kept them from being too long. They didn't shrink after washing/drying in the machine. They are not that stretchy (except for the elastic waistband/ankles/etc.) but are loose-fitting & comfortable. They have places where you can cinch the legs tighter as well. They also fit more like high rise pants for me, which I like. They have deep pockets which were perfect for holding my phone & keeping it dry during the rainy days. I would definitely recommend these pants, and I may even purchase another pair myself!

I'm a thick/Curvy girl, usually size 10/12 (14 if I want a baggy fit) in American Eagle jeans. I ordered a XXL because I wanted it to fit baggy and it's nearly perfect. The waist is a bit big on me (as pants usually are) but i'm able to cinch them in which is great. Good length and fabric is okay. Not the cheap polyester sort of fabric, but still not super high quality. I would def recommend trying this out and either by your size or size up for a baggier fit if you are thicker. I'm sure and XL would have fit me fine, but wouldn't give me the baggy look I was going for.

I like these cargo pants for 1) the fit - I got a size up (XXL) because I really like the baggy look and they fit good at waist and are baggy the way I like too 2) the detailing - with 2 cargo pockets each leg and the little pull strings with the caps make for a strong style statement. 3) SO lightweight! I can see wearing these on the hottest day with a T-shirt or tank top and feeling covered up but COOL - Go get you some!

I'm really pleased with the parachute cargo pants I recently bought. There's a lot to love about this pair, but one minor issue keeps me from rating them a full 5 stars. To start with the positives, I'm absolutely smitten with the overall style and design of these pants. And the color is a gorgeous, versatile neutral that goes with pretty much everything in my wardrobe. The fit is also quite good - they hit at just the right spot on my waist and hips, and the tapered leg opening creates a really polished look. I feel confident and comfortable wearing these pants for a variety of occasions, from running errands to going out with friends. However, the one downside I've noticed is that the waistband has a tendency to roll down a bit throughout the day. It's not a major issue, but it does require some occasional adjustments to keep the pants sitting properly on my waist. This is a bit frustrating, as I prefer pants that stay firmly in place without needing constant attention. Despite this minor gripe, I'm still very happy with my purchase overall. The parachute cargo pants are a stylish, versatile, and high-quality addition to my wardrobe. If the waistband issue wasn't present, they'd easily be a 5-star item for me. But as is, I'd still highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great pair of on-trend, everyday pants.
