These are great!
Yes, they're a bit thinner than the name brand sponge, however these work great and dare I say I like them better being thinner! They come tightly packed, and you do have to kinda tear them apart, but it's not hard at all. They've been great for doing the dishes for a week, then being recycled in to cleaning sponges. Great value, definitely glad I got these!

You get what you pay for
I was delighted to find these sponges so inexpensive. Now I know why. Though they are perfectly okay and do the job you would expect, they are slightly smaller and considerably thinner than the name brand ones you would typically see in a grocery or retail store. I just received them and am using my first one and it seems to be fine but it remains to be seen how long-lasting it will be. All that said, I'm still pleased with my purchase.

More Scrub, Less sponge
I bought these scrubby sponges to use at Garlic Town USA, Bennington VT's nationally known festival, for quick clean-up at our waste stations. They are very slightly smaller than the sponges I often buy at the Yankee Dollar store at 2 per dollar and a quarter. 2 3/8x4x5/8 inches. When I began using these spongers to sop up liquids I discovered that scrubby sponges have perhaps twice as much scrubby material, but the same total thickness. So they have less cellulose than the dollar store sponge. If I were primarily using them to scrub pots and other items for which they were advertised I would give them 5 stars. The scrubby material is not only thicker but stronger. The other portion of the scrubby sponge is excellent, real cellulose as is the Dollar Store sponge. But because scrubby's portion of cellulose is thinner it is much les absorbent. I'd guess the dollar store sponge is twice as absorbent. So evaluate whether you need scrubbing or sopping and go to the dollar store if you need more sopping capacity. Stick with these if you need a great scrubber!

Hmmmmm.....
These sponges have a good scrubber side, but they are the thinnest spnges ive ever used. Its like they took a regular sponge and cut it in half. I think it works fine, but i always feel like im using a spionge thats been used too long and like im using a fragilesponge.

Must try this sponge
I was my dishes everyday, by hand. This sponge works great, less foam sponge to green pad ratio makes it work great. Plus it's thinner, gonna dry faster and not smell as fast.

Replace sponge when it begins to flake
I use each sponge until it begins to flake; I don't need bits clogging up my pipes between my kitchen sink and the main cleanout. Every 4-6 weeks, therefore, I break in a new sponge, letting the older one retire to the trash can permanently. Being that there are 24 in a packet, this will last me about 2 years, and for the price, that is a very good expenditure.I would recommend these to anyone wholeheartedly.
