If, like me, you want far better results with significantly fewer bubbles and less hassle, this is another one of those ‘must-have’ tools for your resin toolkit. * Just a quickly, I found that instead of trying to clean the paddles and mixing cup, because they are silicon, let the resin set on the paddles and then peel it off, you get a cleaner paddle that way. Plus , once your silicone cup had set, scrunch it up a bit and pull out the ‘semi set’ resin. Again cleaner and easier than the mess I used to get into trying to clean everything while it was still ‘fluid’

I bought these as my machine had the plastic paddles, now I have the new machine after having to recently send the first one back ( excellent service from contacting Amazon to receiving my new one) as it was defective so now have a few. They do make a difference to the plastic ones, easier to clean

PROS -a very convenient (and controllable) mixing system for resin -simple to operate (set spin speed and set a timer) -easy to assemble -rechargeable (and battery lasts several hours, depending on viscosity) -easy to clean resin off the paddles (at least the resins that I use) -decent value CONS -build is quite plasticky NOTES -best to clean the resin off while it’s still liquid MY STAR RATINGS: 1* substandard, mostly cons 2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros 3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros 4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons 5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

Worked fine on first use, indicator on the front shower full power. Mixed well, no complaint. Went to use it this evening, and it doesn't turn on. Indicator on the front flashing the first light, but doesn't spin the paddle at all. Will be looking for a replacement please.
