Q: What is the "wax compound"? Are they all natural beeswax?

I don't think so. It would make those too expensive.

Q: How do I put these in my ears? So you ball them up and smash them with the cotton? I just ordered but want to know once they arrive.

Take the cotton off entirely, cut the balls in half (or even in thirds), put or massage them slowly into your ears. Gradually, your body heat will make them softer and more pliable

Q: Is this anything like Windwolle?

I don't know what Windwolle is, but I love these earplugs! They work to decrease noise better than anything I have tried.
