394711 Water Pump Impeller Kit for Johnson Evinrude 8-15HP Outboard with Housing 1974-UP 18-3327

Great water pump kit all parts work like they should. Good water pressure seem to be made of good quality I highly recommend this kit bought it for a 15hp Evinrude.

This kit is a perfect fit for my 1999 Evinrude 8hp outboard motor. Easy installation and it works great.

Exactly what the motor needed, easy replacement , has a good water stream

It looks nice- but that’s it. The water impeller cup doesn’t seat into the water pump housing. It’s only off by a fraction but it won’t allow the housing to sit flush against the metal plate. If I were to force it it very well may crack the plastic housing. Also the shaft seal is either too small in diameter or the housing is to big- again by just a fraction. When I went to push seal into place, it just falls into place. Tip the housing upside down and the seal falls out. It should be a press fit. I’ll be returning the kit as the combination of these 2 issues isn’t worth me overheating or seizing up my motor.

Everything went together easy. Now a steady water stream coming out of the tell tale. No issues and it fit well.

This product works great for my 1980 2stroke 15hp Johnson/Evinrude. It contained the parts needed to get me back on the water! There is one Con...The bolts needed for the water pump were all the same size. There's supposed to be 2 long and 2 Short bolts, and also the bolts did not have blue Loctite already on them. That being said, I use the original bolts (which I would have done anyway) and buy the blue Loctite. All in all this product is acceptable, and my outboard is peeing pretty good;)
