All good as expected
Matches burn and use anywhere..

Nice and strong looking
They look really good (Scared to test as they cost a fair amount), you cant really escape the harsh price tag for stormproof matches and these are about the cheapest you can get whilst still maintaining the stormproof name. The box is completely waterproof and allows for a tiny bit of tinder to be placed inside the box, but it'll be a bit of a squeeze. overall, i recommend these to anyone camping/ going outdoors - good matches.

Does exactly what they're designed for.
Easy to strike? So-so. You have to be deliberate with them, which is reassuring in a way.Do they re-ignite after being dunked in water? Yes they do.Is the case waterproof? Yes it is, it also floats quite well and dries quickly. The matches ignite even when the striker paper is damp.Can these be trusted? I'd say yes, most definitely. If you're in a pinch and need fire by any means necessary, these won't let you down. They burn HOT and long enough to get whatever you have ready lit, while having 25 of them per case means you have plenty spare for a good while. Lifesystems gear seems to be aimed at providing kit that's meant for the worst conditions imaginable, these don't disappoint.

Good - Once You Get it Lit
Bought these for my son's DofE expeditions.Nice sturdy container that appears to be properly waterproof.The matches are a devil to light though - if you strike it using the 'handle' part, it will snap.You need to hold it in the middle to stop it from breaking and it takes 5 or 6 attempts for it to ignite - so not sure 3 striker pads will be enough for all 25 matches.However, once lit they certainly burn well. You cannot blow them out and even submerging it in a bucket of water for 3 seconds did not extinguish it. The flame went out, but when you take it out of the water it fizzles around the edges until the flame returns.
