This is a great lantern/torch. The light is surprisingly bright. I haven't used it so much to see how long it lasts, but I have camped with it and it has been just fine. The charge pack facility isn't much use to be honest as it only added a few percent to my android battery, but if it was a matter of life and death I suppose it would be better to have than not

Don't waste your money on this product it's total rubbish.3 Days i've been trying to get this charged (and its been really sunny here too) will only work with a direct source of power or in direct sunlight so you can see the irony there.------After contact with Bright Outdoors a new one in on the way so its only fair to add this to my comment and with any luck the new one will work and i can delete this 1* review.

Good but the small plastic pins on the hanger are very weak and prone to breaking as our has.Ok as a charge bank too and ideal with the solar panels.I would still recommend this

Works extremely well for the first few days and made a real difference on a weekend camping trip but it seems to quickly deteriorate after a few weeks of minor use afterwards. A few months on it stopped working all together.I recommend it for a short trip but not if you're looking for a lasting product.

Looks good and took charge but unfortunately the torch don't work. Real shame. Might try again as a Solar torch would be useful but this one was sadly useless.

Cannot get it to charge via solar ,its a real shame as am going hiking next week but will not be able to use this product,it seems i am not the only one.
