Excellent Value for a Critical Item
I ordered this chitosan gauze dressing (7.5cm x 150cm) for my trauma/first aid kit, and I’m impressed with the quality; especially for the price. At just $10, it's a fraction of what similar hemostatic dressings usually cost, yet it appears to be well-packaged, sterile, and vacuum-sealed just like the more expensive brands. While I haven’t had to use it in an emergency (and hope I never do), the gauze feels durable and tightly woven, and it’s infused with chitosan, a proven clotting agent used in military and EMS settings. I also appreciate the generous length - plenty for wrapping or packing a serious wound.Make sure to check the expiration date (mine was good for three years out), but otherwise, this is an incredible value for anyone putting together a trauma kit, go-bag, or vehicle emergency setup.Highly recommend as a budget-friendly but effective hemostatic option.

Solid Addition to a First Aid Kit for Serious Situations
This hemostatic gauze is clearly designed for more than just scrapes and small cuts—it's made for scenarios where bleeding needs to be stopped quickly and efficiently. The z-fold layout is practical and makes it easier to pack into a wound without the roll unraveling everywhere, which matters in a high-stress situation. The material feels sturdy and doesn't fall apart when saturated, and the absorbency is better than standard gauze. It does seem to activate clotting fairly quickly when applied with pressure. While I haven't used it in an extreme emergency, it performed well enough during a controlled test to give me confidence in having it on hand. The fact that it’s made with natural, non-allergenic materials is also a plus for those who may be sensitive to synthetic additives. This is the kind of item you hope you never have to use, but it feels like a worthwhile upgrade for trauma kits, camping gear, or emergency supplies at home. It’s not cheap, but it’s one of those things where performance matters more than price, and in that sense, it delivers.

Great to have in an emergency kit.
This comes with one long gauze strip in a non resealable foil bag (in case you were planning on using it for smaller wounds on separate occasions).I ordered this for my emergency supply kit, so it's perfectly adequate for that. I included a photo next to a larger size cell phone in case you're planning on fitting it into a backpack like I am. The price seems about right considering it can be used in an emergency circumstance to pack a wound, and there's plenty of it for larger wounds, punctures, or gun shots.Hopefully , I will not have to use this anytime soon, but if I do, I will update my review with information regarding ease of use and effectiveness.

A must for any First-Aid Kit
Hemostatic gauze is a must-have component in any first-aid kit, for hikers, bikers and anyone out there. I've had a chance to use it to stop a minor but significant bleed - it works immediately to coagulate the blood and close and dress the wound. Bandage it over with what you have and it'll stay put for a long time sufficient to find qualified medical help.Packaged in a vacuum sealed pouch, it takes very little space, opens very quickly and cuts to required size without using any tools, in the moment when time counts the most.Get it! For very little money, a piece of mind is priceless.

Perfect item to add to 1st aid kit
I got this item to add to my first aid kit. I hope I never have to use it, but I’m glad to have it just in case. Being married to someone who gets hurt often, I love that I’ll be prepared the next time something happens. It comes in a sealed package to keep it clean, and it’s small, so it’s easy to store. It also includes instructions on how to use it.

Great add to your first aid kit
I hope I never have to actually use this, so reviewing based on value and suitability for inclusion in my first aid kit. The inner package is well sealed, but a bit large for the contents. It is well sealed and marked with dates of manufacture and expiration. I have added it to my car kit.

Something everyone needs in their first aid kit.
This thin package of hemostatic gauze is a perfect addition to my first aid kit. It is one long sterile strip to be used in an emergency situation, and so once opened, you need to use the whole strip. It is 3" by almost 5' in length, thus it is long enough to provide several wraps around a limb or wound, or will provide multiple layers of a pad to press against a wound. I like that it is a sterile product that is also a clean product without any added chemicals. For $9.99, it is a good addition for my first aid kit.

Great backup for your med kit!
No matter the complexity of the medical kit you keep nearby, be it simple first aid or well stocked trauma kit. I always recommend having quality hemostatic bandages to help control bleeding, which is one of the biggest dangers anytime someone is injured. Even if the wound seems minor, if that patient happens to be on blood thinners or otherwise is prone to heavy bleeding, this is the type of bandage you want in your med kit to help stop the flow until professional assistance can arrive.
