Alvita Red Raspberry Leaf Caffeine Free 24 Tea Bags

I originally got this product after reading an article online that recommended this and powdered Ester C to quit coffee. I was able to quit without any headaches. Since then I read that it's being used in clinical trials in different parts of the world for cancer treatment, so I sent some to my nephew who is fighting cancer. It's also of help to me to restore minerals to my system and even seems to be effective for menopausal symptoms. I feel a lot better when I drink it on a regular basis, and it gives me more energy and just better health in general. It must be helping my liver, because I tend to have a slightly sallow look to my skin, which has disappeared since using it regularly. Oddly enough, my hands are starting to look younger and my veins are less pronounced in my hands. My eyes look clearer too. The only caution I know of is that all herbs tend to thin blood, and it's a diuretic so I have to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

A lot of the reviewers said that this tea smells and tastes like cigarettes, and it's true, when I first opened the box of tea it did smell a lot like cigarettes. However it also smells like slightly burnt peanut butter. If you close your eyes and think about peanut butter then that is all that you'll smell and taste.I added a little honey and saigon cinnamon to my tea and it tastes great.This is a detox tea so if you have a sensitive GI tract then you may want to drink it a Friday so if it reacts poorly with you then you wont miss work.

Alvita Dandelion Root tea has a light and lovely, very mild, smooth flavor with a toasted - never bitter - finish. I enjoyed it hot with a little honey as it didn't need much else to enhance the flavor. I'm sure it would taste just as delicious iced.I drink it for it's soothing properties, much like camomile, but also because it helps relieve water-weight gain discomfort. I am also trying to get away from drinking so much caffeinated coffee/drinks and this Alvita Dandelion Root Tea is the best substitute I've found yet. I can drink it any time of the day and feel refreshed and not jittery.My order arrived promptly as described. It was so nice that the vendor also included samples and descriptions of their other natural products available for an improved, healthier lifestyle. I'll be purchasing more from them in the future.

You can compare it to unsweetened black tea, but palpable and soothing. It is one of nature's best blood purifiers in addition to being great for women anytime. It's great year round and for flu season, and you can ice it too. Sweeten it up with a bag of chamomile or red clover. Spearmint & peppermint tea compliment it well too -- or add value to that flavored stuff from the supermarket w/this.You can drink this like water and I can't say enough about how good this tea is for well being, you'll probably instantly feel better.

I've never written an amazon review before, but I was so annoyed at the product & dandelion tea is not a widespread buy, so I just want to warn others.I bought two boxes of tea & was disgusted when I made the first batch and it tasted like... smoke. like cigarettes. Since I'd bought this brand of tea from Whole Foods in the past, the only thing I can think is that someone in their warehouse is smoking cigarettes around their stock, because when I opened the second box of tea, there was the same heavy cigarette smell. NOT what I'm looking for in my tea.I threw both boxes out after making the first cup. Buyer beware - get your tea from someone else.

My husband and I are trying to conceive (it would be the first for both of us) and so we have been trying to be more healthy take more of an interest in holistic/natural factors. I learned about the benefits red raspberry tea and have only read great and amazing things as it applies to helping our female organs overall. I don't like hot drinks.. even my coffee I will put an ice cube or two in with some milk.. anyway.. with this tea I just run hot tap water over the tea bag in my cup and then wait til it becomes room temp and then drink and just keep refilling with water til there is no more coloring in my water... it may sound weird but I like it and also am able to make the most of one tea bag a day. Anyway.. we are only on our second month of trying to conceive and I have been pretty regular with my cycles(I'm 30 yrs) as it is so I hope this only helps to increase our chances as well as benefit the labor process if/ when we do conceive.

At a glance- tea is weak, no string attached to the bag, not worth the priceDetail- I started drinking dandelion tea for a month and so far I'm loving it. But this three starts review is given to the tea from this particular brand, not dandetion tea in general.I first tried Traditional Medicinals Organic Roasted Dandelion (refer as TM for the rest of the review), I love it very much. The taste, the result I got from it, etc. But I do not want to just stick with one brand because I want to know what would the difference be for different brands with different price. Alvita is the third brand I tried. The second one I found from local supermarket was so bad that's not worth mentioning here. If I've never tried TM, I would imagine alvita to be an okay product. But compare to TM, the difference is so significant that I decided not to try other brands anymore and just stick with TM. Here's why- the tea I got from 4 bags of alvita is not as strong as 1 bag of TM, in terms of color, flavor and after taste. I used same amount of very hot water, same amount of brewing time, method and container. Price between the two brands doesnt have a four times different. I think that explains a lot. Dandelion root tea is definitely something I want to drink every day for the rest of my life, but just not alvita.

It adds days to the life of patients for whom even Doctors had left any hope.Must buy for people suffering from liver ailments.

It took a couple of days before I felt any effect but then I noticed I was feeling a bit more energized and stopped my napping in the afternoon. I like this tea and will continue to order it.

I just love this tea. Has a lot of healthy benefits too. It is a little sweet but pleased (for me). The only thing don't drink it if you go out because you will need the toilet. Many thanks also for the delivery. Very good packed

I have read positive reports of this tea being good for pregnant mums so am drinking a cup a day now during my 2nd trimester and will increase to 2 cups of this tea nearer my due date. It is also suggested that it can help with milk supply so will probably continue while breast feeding. This tea is difficult to find on the high street so pleased to have found a good supplier here.
