This is a great basic weather station! It was simple to assemble, takes 3 AA & 3 AAA batteries. The baseline of all of the sensor readings can be adjusted if for instance you put the display unit on something that warms it up a couple of degrees. I am finding it very interesting watching the barometric pressure, and it is fun to see the moon phase. IT is also another clock and shows the calendar date and even what day it actually is. All convenient. I had the display 50' from the mounted unit, which was outside of a very long wall and the unit had total connectivity even through the building, I was impressed with that. The temperatures both outdoors and indoors, agree with other instruments that I have, and the outdoor temp agrees with what the weather channel says the temperature should be for my location. I think the unit looks great, classier than my house lol. The unit is light which is good considering I had to use a ladder to mount it. I mounted mine in a unique way, in order to avoid as many trees as possible. I am surrounded by trees that could potentially fall on my house in high wind, so I am motivated to always know where the wind is coming from and how strong it is, as I am inside the house. This unit even has an alarm that you can set for when any parameter gets too extreme, for instance I can set an alarm at 40mph wind so if it gets that strong I will see the alarm and can just leave my place lol until the winds calm down again. I have only just set this up, but it is clear to see that as the wind shifts and gusts, the anemometer and wind direction vane immediately respond in turn so, even though the unit is close to the house it makes no difference, the vane still shows the correct wind direction so I lucked out there. I must say of the seller as well that they sent me a message before I even got the unit, standing ready to assist me with any issue. That was a first and I appreciate it! I was able to figure everything out and everything works. I've not yet tried the rain gauge, but expect that it works normally as well. It should not be placed under trees, and this is just about the only location of my house that doesn't have trees above it. I should say that as a paraglider pilot I know a little about wind and have another anemometer, I would say they read about the same. For a weather unit that doesn't require a phone app or computer to use, this is a good one.

A decent weather station and monitor, with a single unit that was easy to install (I mounted it on a pole). Reporting display is nice and bright. The remote station paired quickly and easily with the monitor. It would have been nice if they had included batteries, or at least told you in the listing what you'd need, not just that the batteries weren't included. For the price, I would have liked, and I bought it expecting it to have wifi, and it's a little confusing that it didn't. Several other units specifically say that they do not have wifi (the professional unit for instance), this one doesn't say that, and the listing-provided questions are worded in a fairly confusing way: "Is this a weather station without wifi function?" "Yes..." who asks a question in that way?

I have had this set up a few weeks now. Installation was quick and easy and was configured on my phone within a few minutes. So far the readings seem to be quite consistent when comparing with other stations in the area. The fact that all the sensors are on one piece of kit makes installation easy. Console display has a host of readings including various different options for rain ( ie rain rate / accumulation) Heat index, wind chill, dew points etc for temperature. The ability to upload data directly to a vast range of different websites also means you can track the weather on various different websites and in various different formats. All in all an excellent little system for the amateur weather geek!
