Turquoise Pendant Necklace Sterling Silver 925 (Sterling Silver Pendant with 20" Stainless Chain)

This is a very well made and cute pendant.The silver work on the back and sides of the compressed, real turquoise bits, product is very nicely done. It looks like a solid piece of turquoise. It is well marked on the back with a Z, 925, and Philippines.I'm positive it's real silver.I normally wouldn't consider buying my south western jewelry from Asia, but this has a great look to it. From a distance it looks like a good, solid, piece of turqouise. The color of it is passable.The chain is ok, just a standard stainless steel chain that has a easy to open lobster claw clasp. Chain's like these are strong. I do like that it has a large bail, so i can easily put it on a much nicer, real silver chain.It matches some of my more "costume"type western jewelry. If you want the look without the high price, this is it.I do think there are some matching earrings for sale. Great look, no deception in their ad, thus 5 star.

This is a fairly pretty necklace but be aware of a few things: 1) It's made in the Phillipines (stamped on the back of the pendant) 2) While the pendant is stamped as being sterling silver the chain is not 3) The chain is rather hard to open if you don't have nails. The stone itself is very pretty, and this could be worn casually or out to dinner. The chain is really too short to wear with a sweater, though.

I ordered this because I like to mix metals when I wear jewelry, and the matrix turquoise lends itself to wearing the pendant with a silver or gold chain. The pendant appears to be stamped “925” and “Philippines,” with an additional maker’s mark. The double loop bail (the hook at the top of the pendant) is very soft, so be careful if you handle it. It bends with the slightest pressure. The pendant is lightweight so it should hold fine, but I did take away one star for that. The chain they provided appears to be base metal, maybe stainless steel. It isn’t marked. I only wear sterling silver and genuine gold due to skin reactions, so I will not be able to use it. This arrived in a nice gift box and was well packaged. The pendant has a delicate appearance, as in it isn’t overly large. The bezel the turquoise is set in is a simple, elegant design. This is one of those pieces that can be worn casually or if you want to dress up your style. The price is decent for the style and weight of the pendant.

I adore this necķlace. The Torquiose is goregous and real. It looks even better than the images on screen. So much so-called turquose is not real, but dyed howlite. This is the real deal and a beautiful color of blue. The bezel is 925 silver. The chain is not sterling silver. However, i still feel like this necklace is a good value. I've been complimented on it, every time I've worn it The size is just right, too. I'm happy with this purchase.
