Leg Avenue Women's 2 Piece Pretty Playing Card Costume Includes Dress And Neck Piece

I just got my costume in the mail today and it is extremely cute. This is my first review of a costume, but I'm going to try to include all the information I wish I'd had when I was shopping for this one, and will upload a picture, so hopefully this will help future costume buyers.First of all you'll want to purchase at least two 13" to 15" double petticoats to get the effect in the picture, as the dress itself is just the dress. It doesn't have any "poof" to it at all. I say 13 inch to 15 inch double petticoats for two reasons, A) I tried a single petticoat and it just doesn't do anything. In the picture I've uploaded I'm wearing a single double petticoat 15 inches in length that I purchased after the initial single petticoat diabolical. Even the single double petticoat didn't have nearly the poof of the picture, so I ordered an additional double petticoat, but it hasn't arrived yet so the pic I'm uploading is with only one 15 inch double petticoat. The 2nd reason I say 13" to 15" double petticoat is it's entirely up to you how much of your rear you're comfortable displaying to the general public... because if you go with the 13" as I did initially, your bottom WILL be hanging out, as this dress is SHORT.So if you're on the tall side like I am (over 5'8") you're going to want to keep your petticoat length in mind, because the petticoat is basically the only thing that will be covering your rump. The dress may cover more if you're on the shorter side, but I'm not short and it doesn't cover my butt. Simple as that.As far as the construction and the material of the costume, it's made fairly well for a costume. If you order the correct size you shouldn't have an issue with the seams popping, and what have you. The stitching and construction is stronger than most costumes I've worn, so no complaints there.However the stock picture made me think that it was made of a cotton, or maybe linen, a sturdier fabric of that sort. That could just be me though, because I suppose there was no actual reason for me to come to that conclusion about the material... Anyway a sturdier type fabric is what I was expecting, and in reality it's made of a thin spandex. It feels much like a bathing suit made of very thin spandex with a zipper in the back, so you may want to keep that in mind.If you've got a little extra jiggle the material definitely would not be flattering if you wore it tight as it will show every single roll and dimple you've got. You'll definitely to want to either buy a slightly larger costume size, or purchase a sturdy boned corset if you want a tight, fitted look. The material of the costume is forgiving when it comes to fit, but I think it would absolutely NOT forgiving when it comes to hiding any flaws in your figure. So keep that in mind when picking your size.I'm between 5'8" and 5'9", weigh 160lbs, and wear a size 9/10. The sizing chart said I should order the medium/large, so that's what I ordered. It fit me perfectly, but I'd say that if you wear a 12 or a 14 you'll want to go with the next size up, or purchase a corset as I think it would be too tight for comfort and the thin, form fitting, stretchy material. The chart suggests that the medium/large would also fit sizes 12 and 14, but I wouldn't recommend it without the purchase of a corset, I'd just go for the next size up. Now according to the sizing chart my size 9/10 body should have been in the middle or even on the smaller end of the size range for this particular costume, but it fit exactly perfect. So it would likely be a little big for someone wearing a 7/8, tight for an 11/12, and way too small for a 13/14.As far as the bosom of the dress it does have a very nice halter feature that gives you a bit of lift, but even so I was slightly uncomfortable not wearing a bra. I went with a convertible push up bra, and used a clear strap as a halter. Worked great, gave the girls the lift I wanted, and didn't have any tacky bra strap showing issues. Obviously if you go with a boned corset under the dress you wouldn't have to worry about a bra.I decided against the thigh highs in the picture as I've just never been comfortable wearing thigh highs, and instead went with vertical black and white striped tights. I also bought a mini top hat on Amazon that had matching vertical black/white stripes with a red hat band that perfectly matched the red on the dress. But those were personal preferences and I've no doubt that the accessories shown in the stock photo would be adorable.Ok I think that's everything I wished I had known about the costume before I had purchased it. All in all I'm very happy with this costume, it's extremely cute, and I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun wearing it this Halloween. Hope this review helps some of you to make a decision about this costume.

Im 5"9 220 size 14-16 women order XL fit little tight but I made it work

Material is stretchy and forgiving. I normally wear a US size 16-18, so I was nervous when the largest size available was XL and I was even more nervous when I first took the costume out of the package and saw how small it looked. However, when I tried it on it fit great. The bodice is stretchy enough that it gives you the extra room if you need it while still remaining snug if you're thinner. My only complaint was that it had some loose strings hanging down off the seam, but that was easily fixed.

I'm 5'2, 100 lbs size XS or 0, I ordered the xs and it fit as expected. Since I'm short, the length is a bit long for my liking, but I did order two petticoats to go with it to give it that *poof* (only have one on in pics). You'll definitely want to get a petticoat or two to give it some flare or it will hang down and look dull. Semi stretchy material, comfortable!!! I ordered the stockings separately

I think it is adorable.....The quality is good for a costume. Also love the zipper, i also got the petty coat. There were other negative comments about the collar. I didn't plan to ware it, but I thought I would try to make it usable. I put it in a sink full of hot water and it purked up beautifully, as if it had never been smashed. I straightened all the gold ribbon and it looks great.I plan to ware it for a Zumba party and my 19yr granddaughter plans to ware it for Halloween.. SO CUTE!!!!!

I'm 5'6" and 120 and the small/medium fit perfectly. Costume is amazing! Superb quality for a costume and for the price! I am so impressed, best deal ever. Sidenote: very short!

I got this outfit a few weeks prior to Halloween. The quality is great and fit as expected. I bought the accessories separate (hat, tights, petticoat).The outfit was very comfortable. I have a larger chest and smaller waist, which makes it hard to find tops to fit properly. This costume worked perfectly. The top chest area has elastic around it to fit different sizes. The skirt portion has extra space to fit a petticoat under. I bought two separate petticoats to wear under the skirt. You can easily wear just one or two, but the costume does not look as cute without the extra petticoats bought separately.The neck piece came with the outfit but was flattened in shipping. I had to lay it out and fluff it, which did help. However, the neck piece was not comfortable to wear, so I just wore it for a few pictures.I would recommend the outfit!

Mine didn’t come with the collar. Does any costume from Amazon come with all the pieces?!? I think the costume fits well. I wear a small and ordered a small. I like that I could wear a bra with this. But, I think it’s too expensive for not coming with all the pieces. Without the collar, it’s just the dress. Then, I have to buy a hat, petticoats, stockings, etc.

Outfit is perfect. Just came rather creased. But fits lovely. Very happy with it!

i was very pleased with this purchase. its true to size and is fun to wear. i think its a shame it didnt come with the petticoat though :(

Super sexy el disfraz, me encanto tal cual la foto, es importante mencionar que en la foto trae la modelo un petticoat abajo de la falda el cual se debe comprar por separado tal cual indica la descripción del producto. lo único malo es que en la descripción dice que incluye la pieza del cuello pero al abrirlo no la encontré.

Das Kleid ist nicht wie auf dem Foto. Lassen Sie mich das für den Preis besser erklären, für den ich das gleiche Kleid wie auf dem Foto erwartet habe. Es kommt ohne Tutu, so dass es nicht den Effekt des Fotos gibt, und ohne Zubehör. sehr enttäuscht.

Die aufgeklebten Motive Herz \Caro usw fühlen sich an wie dickes Schmirgelpapier und sind steif und kleben so aneinander, dass sie den Sitz des Rocks verziehen. Für den Preis bin ich enttäuscht. Oben rum gefällt es mir, von der Passform würde ich sagen Größe S-M entspricht 38. Mir war es etwas zu weit geschnitten, habe eigentlich 36. Und man muss einen Unterrock dazu bestellen. Sonst wirkt der Rock nicht. Auf dem Foto ist so ein Rüschen Unterrock auch erkennbar, gehört aber nicht zum Lieferumfang.
