Seriously Awesome..Loved the character of Wonder Woman.. Shocking twist in the origin of WW. Go DC..

Very good first book. The series overall reads more like a gimmicky TV show though. Very good buy for 625 in excellent condition but binding will give way if you don't take care like all new 52 editions

Superb book .. just a it on the costly side but excellent quality, artwork, storyline and overall feel you get reading such sort of book. Recommended.

Brian Azzarello destroyed 75 years of WW mythos and turned her into a Hercules rip off. Wonder Woman origin was retconned from divine clay birth because Aphrodite took pity on Hippolyta to product of an affair between Zeus and HippolytaThe art was impressive but then the biggest WT F movement happened. The immortal Amazons went on raiding parties raped and murdered sailors. Then they killed male kids while keeping the female kids. Then Hephaestus took pity on male kids and made a deal with Amazons. He will give them swords and other primitive weapons for male kids who he will employ in his forgeThe Amazons are so sexist that they sell their own male babies for swords. In 1940 they had invisible jet and was technologically advanced by light years. Now in 2012 they are selling their own male babies for swords.For some unknown reason Diana don't know about male genocide. She do not hate men and believes in equality. How ? There is no way Diana coming from such screwed up society is going to be sane. Infact this is perfect explanation for Injustice WW. The original WW ,Diana came to Man's world to turn into Amazon civilization of equality and peace. Now Diana comes from an Island of rapist.As the comics went on they destroyed her Amazon training too. The Amazons are considered one of the best Warriors in DC. Diana is equally known Amazon training as for her other Godly powers. They changed that she getting Ares the God of war. You know WW greatest villain is now her mentor. Ares is drawn to resemble Brian.It's complete Brian has destroyed every WW feminist concept . He has issues with woman and feminism. How come DC hire such people to write WW.WW is a superhero story which uses Greek mythology. It is not actual Greek mythology with incest, affairs ,rape which is sadly what this WW comic was.The story was just modern generic Greek mythology like in Percy Jackson and other modern Greek adaptations. The villain was generic brute like Doomsday. There is also incest.Thankfully DC made it non canon with WW rebirth. Sadly Zeus origin still remain and it has spilled over to the WW 2017 movie.It would have been OK if it was elsewhere story. Diana was a catholic in JLA act of God. It can't get any worse than that but it was canon for 5 years.
