The leather used for making this strap is kinda thick and hard, but after using a leather softener it became softer. Since it's a thick leather strap it's indeed quite durable but it's kinda heavy. I can see some reviewers have complained about its smell, well it's a bullhide strap, unlike what the seller claims it doesn't feel like a Lambskin strap. Unlike soft leather like lambskin the bullhide does tend to smell when it's new but the smell goes away after repeated usage, once you get past the smell you'll realise that since it's made of bullhide it's more durable than the softer lambskin straps.

It's my first time buying a leather sling for my fender squier sa105, I've never expected it to be of such a good quality for so low a price. The packaging and presentation was unexpected, it was well packed inside a clothed bag with a thank you note enclosed in an envelope alongside which also included how to take care of the leather. It's hard to find companies these days with such dedicated. The leather seemed to be of decent quality and fairly strong as I struggled to put it on my guitar, the length is good enough and adjustable easily for anyone. They've also included an extra string(shoelace) which was a big help which I used for tying the sling onto the end of the neck as my guitar didn't officially come with a sling mount. Thumbs up from me.

The product feels very premium and well made. The leather is good. But i found the ends too thick for my liking. I found it quite difficult to insert the strap pins into the cut slot of the belt since the belt was too thick and when i tried to hang it on my shoulder there were lots of noise of the leather rubbing against the guitar body. And also the strap came off as the leather was too thick for the strap pins. I initially thought of returning the belt but then decided against it because the belt is good, i just have to get some thinner leather stitched at the ends by a local cobbler and make those cuts for the strap pins.

Product not well tanned. Got fungus when kept inside my guitar bag. Also, the colour became black in fungus affected areas, the metal parts got fully rusted.. Needed to get rid of it.. My leather belts has not shown these signs..

What a beautiful product. Nice raw leather - has that great smell. Looks great on my guitar. Amazingly well priced given everything else at this price is nylon or fake leather. More importantly, it’s the classic type of leather that will age naturally

I don't member how expensive it was so I am at fault to giving it 5 Stars for value for money.....But it is really nice. For the first few months it smelt of leather, as it should, but now it isn't and works great. I've had this for 2 years now. You can hang people on guitars with this...Rather than guitars on people...
