I was struggling with a light algae problem over the summer. I vacuumed, brushed and it would return within a few days. My pool chemistry was spot on so I decided I needed to do some research to get help. I read reviews on this and decided to give it a try. The algae went away and I am so thankful. I will definitely keep this on hand.

Had tried several things up to using Banish. The orange stuff always came back in the shady spots. If you have problems with orange growth after it gets warm and in the parts that don't get as much direct sun, give it a try. Has worked for me for 2 years. On my 4th bottle. Not cheap but worth it.

My pool had yellow algae. If you’ve had it, you know it’s almost impossible to get rid of. Clorox products are a waste of $$$. Even HTH didn’t work. But I saw this product in internet reviews. And WOW 🤩! It did get rid of my yellow algae. Then I was able to just do normal maintenance and brushing to keep it away. I also did the after treatment (recommended). I am now wanting to try their whole product line. If you have ANY TYPE ALGAE just use this brand. It’s worth the money. I wasted so much money not wanting to spend the extra few bucks only to spend more in the end. Every time I used the cheaper algae product I vacuumed the pool on waste. Then had to refill it. Only to wake up to algae the next morning. Sometimes it was on the bottom that night when I went to shut the pump off. I won’t waste time & money on those products anymore. This product is the only one that has worked for me with 2 summers of yellow algae.

I bought this with my fingers crossed because it would be here just 2 days before our 4th of July party. I didn't have any of the other stuff it said to use 1st. I didn't shock my pool first. I didn't vacuum it either. I just brushed the pool, put this in, and prayed 🤣. I kept the pump running for 24 hours, brushing a few more times. After 24 hours I cleaned the filter, brushed the pool again, and ran the pump, and put my chlorine dispenser back in the pool (water started smelling fishy so I knew it needed chlorine). Woke up to a BLUE POOL!!!!! Definitely recommend !!!!!!!

Used this product according to the directions and it worked great. Cleared a stubborn algae problem that we had since opening the pool in May.

Had a sudden horrible mustard algae bloom that regular chlorine shock wasn't even touching. I have a pebble tec pool, which can make scrubbing every little nook and cranny difficult. I followed the directions on the bottle and after 24 hours, no more algae; even the little cracks and crevices between the pebbles were clean! The water was kind of grey and cloudy, so I followed it up with some BioGuard Clarifier, let the filter run for another 24 hours, then changed the filter cartridges (<--this step is REALLY important to prevent another algae bloom). Pool has been blue and crystal clear since. Definitely worth the price. This stuff worked so well for me, I recommended it to my daughter, too.
