Best Jetlag saver!
I never had insomnia or sleep related issues and I never took melatonin on regular basis but what I always found is I get severe jetlag when I travel across opposite timezones! I tried this and it is actually the best solution for the jetlag problems if you want to get rid of that tiring jetlag faster.. I took it in the night time there and within 20 minutes, I was deep asleep and woke up at 6 am with all satisfactory and refreshing sleep.!! Highly recommended

The perfect dose!
This works so well at 2 things: 1) increasing my sleep drive close to bedtime (helping me fall asleep faster / decreasing latency) 2) not causing me to wake up halfway through the night like higher doses of melatonin do. Perfect dosage level. Pair it with L Theanine (100mg) and Phosphatidylserine (100mg) 1hr before bed and you'll boost your sleep drive and sleep better while avoiding reducing CNS activity (that may otherwise lead to greater snoring/apnea episodes in many people) as seen in some supplements like Kava or Valerian.

Does the job, but may cause extremely vivid dreams...
I took one of these pills before my nightly shower. After getting into bed, I was asleep in record time. Roughly 15 minutes after getting into bed, according to my smartwatch. A dramatic improvement over the 2 hours that it normally takes me. But throughout the night, I experienced VIVID dreams. Nearly life-like. It started off with a nightmare where I was beating people up for no reason..? It got so intense that I woke up in the middle of the night, but then promptly fell back asleep upon realizing that it was just a dream. After falling asleep, I promptly slipped back into the land of dreams, where I had a much more pleasant dream; cuddling with a classmate. I woke up that morning in a state of bliss. Anyways, this product really does the job. It helped me to get my sleep schedule back on track, and I had some... Interesting dreams, in the process. Highly recommend, especially if you're a lucid dreamer.

Works for me, (lifetime insomniac)
I have tried it all. I’ve used Valerian root. I’ve used prescription stuff, (which gave me horrible nightmares and cottonmouth, among other side effects.) I’ve used OTC supplements. I’ve even used melatonin that is higher dose. When I was told about this, I was super skeptical. That was about three years ago, and numerous orders ago. I gave this an honest shot, and it seems to have set my circadian rhythm just right. I take it around 7pm or so, and I fall asleep pretty easily and peacefully around 11 or earlier. If I want to stay up later, I usually can. This has just been a godsend. I also usually stay asleep too. And THAT is a huge part of why I like it. I’m not groggy in the morning and I wake up pretty early usually. This stuff works for me. I did have to give it time though. I think a few weeks of using it would do the trick.

300mcg doesn't work on me
I tried 300mcg and it doesn't work on me. Then i tried 600 mcg(two pills) and it worked a little bit. So i guess optimal for me is around from 800mcg to 1,5 mg.

half way there... PERFECT go-to-sleep aid but I woke after 3-4 hours. will try slow release version
Highly recommended to try. I took one pill 2 hours before I wanted to go to bed and it worked gently like a subliminal suggestion. I wasn't too sleepy but gone were my normal bedtime urges to watch a favorite tv show from the DVR or part of a movie. Or, on my tablet I had no urge to read just one or two articles or play a game for a just few mintues. Any of these activites usually turns into an hour or more of screen time. With this pill I actually had the opposite urge to avoid screens which felt great. This urge was not a conscious decision but more like thinking of eating a food which is not appealing to eat at the moment. I fell asleep within a half an hour of going to bed. The reason for 3 stars is I did not stay asleep for more then 3-4 hours. I tried the pill again one more night to the same effect. My doctor recommended I double the dosage after chuckling at the small dosage. She was regularly taking 5mg of melatonin herself but two of these make me feel weird and didnt help me sleep any better. I recommend avoid taking more than one pill. I agree with the bottle - "Do not exceed recommended dose." I decided to stop after three tries because I was weary, and I still am, of taking melatonin. Normally before bed I will watch tv or on my tablet read or play games. I'll continue for a few hours until I start nodding off and waking up a few times. I'll stubbornly try to finish what I'm doing before eventually giving up and putting the tablet down or turning the tv off and falling asleep. My brain is usually very active in the early morning. Ideally, I would go to sleep at midnight, wake up at 8 am and work from 9 am to 7 pm. I'm late 40s and 225 lbs. Since my teens I have had trouble going to bed early (10 am), waking up early (6:30 am) and feeling refreshed enough to avoid 2+ hour afternoon naps. I have the option to work normal hours but usually I work noonish to midnight based on my wake up time. If I try to wake up earlier (7 am - 9 am) I will be yawning and dozing off in the early afternoon which perpetuates my late sleep cycle. When I wake up at noon or later I feel great and feel the endorphins but the problem is my day is starting at noon or later! I'm a light sleeper so sometimes I'm in the bed for 10 hours to get 7-8 hours of sleep. Noises and light wake me up easily. Right now it's 5:39 am and I've been typing this review for about an hour. I've been sleepy for the past 2 hours and dozed off once already with the tv on but I wanted to write this review! What lead me here was a sleep aid commercial on tv and looked at its reviews here on Amazon. This pill came to mind which I tried 3 years ago. I saw there was an slow release version so I ordered it. I had a strong urge to leave a review before going to bed so here's the review. I powered though which is a frustrating acquired skill. Yes, everything sleep is messed up for me. Another reason I'm trying the extended version is because last year I had insomnia for the first time based on lots of things going on at work and at home. One part of my brain would be wide awake after 3 hours of sleep but the rest of my brain was still off. As soon the issues passed I was back to my normal sleep late, broken sleep, wake late routine. I hope the extended version helps me fall asleep earlier and stay asleep.
