Ghost Chili Pepper - Bhut Jolokia - Flakes 4 Oz

I love this pepper! Ive purchased this multiple times for the Beef Jerky i make. Gives a great kick! (Little expensive) But the taste and heat is perfect!

This is a great quality product. When you sniff the contents, you can tell it's hot, but it also has a faint, delicious, almost pineapple aroma. I think it's because they obviously fully ripen the peppers. I really enjoy this product on chili, on bbq...anything that is good hot. My fave snack after work is a couple Triscuit crackers with a hunk of cheddar on each, microwaved to barely melting and then sprinkled with these Ghost pepper flakes. Your mouth builds up a tolerance to hot foods, and eventually, you might even start craving it. Sonoran Spice does a super, super job making this awesome product.

I like to add a little kick to most of my food, and I used to add standard crushed red pepper flakes, but the level of heat was inconsistent and they often seemed too mild for me. But these ghost pepper flakes, if used carefully and sparingly, add plenty of heat without overwhelming the flavor of the food. If you are not careful with these, however, you will not taste anything for an hour or more. In fact, you may want to keep some ice cream on hand as an antidote, just in case.

Nice and hot, hotter if you cook it into the food you are making..

Very hot, had been using these for years now. It is not for everyone for everyday use. I am used to these since my teen years..

Okay, so you find that you go through a huge container of regular red hot chili flakes fairly quickly? Well, this little puppy is the answer! It takes about an eighth the amount of these flakes to reach the same level of heat intensity you'd get from regular chili flakes. Super hot, yet delicious in small quantities. I use them anywhere I previously used red hot pepper flakes....pizza, pasta dishes, etc.

Excellent flavor. This type of pepper is very hot. Best used by grinding it up finer to a powder. I have a small electric coffee grinder I use just for hot pepper.Ghost pepper doesn't taste good on everything. I don't like it on pizza. I do like it on grilled foods and most types of chinese or thai dishes that I eat. Really good on Singapore rice noodles.4 oz will last a long, long time.
