I bought this expecting by the measurements being pretty sure that it wouldn’t fit. It did, it’s just small enough compared to the measurements for it to fit in my down tube area of my bike. I have a “mid-step” cargo bike and the down tube is smaller than most, I was pretty sure a battery wasn’t going to fit. It’s a nice shell and it locks, which is what I really wanted more than anything else. It is packed well and arrived earlier than expected. It powers my conversion kit like it is supposed to and functions like a 48v battery is expected to. Longevity is to be determined.

This battery shows up as replacement for SKUTE Tri E Bike but it’s not unless can replace the base connection which is not easy and not practical when want to use it as back up for the original when run out of battery on long trips.

I love the fact it came with cables that made it super easy to in stall it.

On a normal trip i lose around 4 bars out of 6 before i installed this battery. When i installed this battery and took the same trip i barely lost 2 bars.. Id say its performing well.

The battery is decent for the price a little expensive but it’s looks like the pictures Does it work… idk it doesn’t work w my bike and they refuse to let me return it so I can try a different one. I need one w the original 5 pin connection to the sled not this new connection

This battery only last about 5 miles n dies on my ebike. Stay away.
