If there is one thing more effective than force, it has to be the power of persuasion. Persuasion and the art of getting others to agree with you is a technique that can help you in many many areas of life. And for most of us persuasion does not happen automatically, you have to work on your persuasion skills.Some people are good at it naturally, but for most others this is a skill that needs to be learnt. I certainly fall in the second category. I always wondered if this skill can be learnt, whether it is not a you-either-have-it-or-you-don't kind of a skill. But thanks to this book, I now know that it certainly is!This is not the first book I have read on how to influence people around you, how to get them to agree with you. But it certainly has some of the best advice out there! It does not go on and on about how you can do this or do that or hypothesize things. It shows you a clear route of making things happen. And I believe it is the best technique to teach someone something they want to do.The practicality of the solutions offered and the things taught in this book just blew me away! I can now see things in a way I never did before, I can now tell the same things in ways I never thought of before, and the way I say them has a massive effect on the recipient. Sometimes just the way you say something can make all the difference. This wonderful book by Michael Kiff shows the reader what to say and how to say it.The writer has done a good job at everything that has been covered in the book. And although I was a little skeptical with the short length of this book, by the time I finished the book I have to admit, this is the best length for a book of this sort. Because it does not seem like a dull, never-ending story. The points are clear, concise and yet helpful. This is everything I could have wished for! Now I just need to apply these techniques for a longer time period practically and see how the results go in the long run (short run tests say it is very good!). Can't wait for it!

The 71 pages are full of examples that are designed to sharpen the readers' understanding and skills in conversational hypnosis. The examples are practical and relatively easy to follow and practice. The size and price of the book are quite deceiving because this is certainly a good book.

I thought it was easy to read, all "Meat and potato's" type of writing. Plan speak, the language 99.9% of the world uses, isn't that the whole point of communication? So others can understand you? I've read all the books that you suggest, especially multiple book's on Erickson. What a waste of time. A thousand words to make a single vague point. Mostly cut and pastes of other "Scholarly" writers, "Bob said this, Carol said that, john said this," No Bozo glad you read all those books, but what conclusions did YOU get out of it, what did YOU learn? The book has loads of good information on covert hypnosis. It does get frustrating that the author continually uses these techniques to get you to like the book. I get that he is giving a good example by doing this, but it makes me feel as if he is more interested in getting me to think I like the book than in teaching the subject at hand. The book does contain a few copy errors.

This book is a joke. It reads like a book report on NLP, done by a fourth grader. There is nothing useful here. Not one original idea, and not even a practical explanation for other peoples ideas. The writing is poor, the tone is obnoxious and I suspect that the person who wrote this is not a native English speaker. I couldn't be more disappointed.Don't by this book. It is useless and a waste of your money.
