The George Foreman Next Grilleration G5 Cookbook: Inviting & Delicious Recipes for Grilling Baking Waffles Sandwiches & More! Edition: Second

I got a George Foreman grill as a gift. I'm not much of a cook, so I ordered this book to see if it helped. It didn't. It's not the book. It's me. I'm still not a cook. I no longer have the grill.

I absolutely love everything about this George Foreman Grill! Haven't had the stove on since I bought it. Pork chops? Perfect! Steak? Perfect! Cookies? Perfect! Veggies? Perfect! Sausage links & patties? Perfect! The first couple of times I used it I sprayed cooking spray to make clean up easier. I have found that the more I use it, the more seasoned it is. No more sprays for me & the cooking plates clean up with no scrubbing at all. I thought I would like it because the cooking surfaces are dishwasher safe, but I found I want to wash & dry them immediately & reassemble for the next meal. Wish I had bought one a long time ago. Way to go George!!!

This is a nice addition if you have a George Foreman G5 grill. It does give you more ideas than the booklet that comes with the grill itself, so that's nice. However, I think for the price of this book, there should be more recipes. I'd especially like it if there were more recipes for everyday, non fancy foods, instead of complicated gourmet paninis and the like.

I was so glad to find this replacement book (in such good condition) for my original, which somehow absorbed some rotting fruit juices leaking from a bowl on our counter (we had no idea there was anything in the bowl), and glued its pages together like cement.
