Seeds grew well
We had many nice flowers grow from these seeds. The hummingbirds loved them. Just do not cut them all down after they finish blooming as they will do a second bloom a couple months later.

Pretty flowers; good companion plant
I still have seeds leftover and the ones that I grew with my plants last year are starting to take over....so I'd say the seeds were worth it. I got these as companion plants for my tomatoes and the flowers are quite pretty. I saw lots of bees around my garden as well (I can't say it was just because of the borage, but they definitely didn't deter the pollinators from coming around). I will say borage plants are a little prickly on the stems so you may want to wear gloves any time you're handling them.

Gorgeous blooms taking over everything
I bought these 2 years ago. Not all of them germinated (maybe a third), but the ones that did grew big and beautiful. I love that they have continuous cycles of pretty blue flowers. They seemed to help with pests near0 my tomatoes during the first season, but they have reseeded themselves so heavily over the last two seasons that they have blocked anything else from being able to grow in the area. If you are growing them because you love the look of borage and are willing to let them take over and spread, then 5 stars for sure!!!! Lovely and healthy plants needing little water or nutrients (I didn't fertilize at all last season and they looked like they couldn't have cared less.) But if you are trying to companion plant, be extremely careful, because they will take over and block everything else from growing by their second season. They are choking out any tomatoes attempting to grow nearby. For the small price, this packet will provide a lifetime of blooms if you let it.

May Need to over-seed
I planted first in a seed bed with pretty ideal growing conditions, but zero seeds germinated. I then planted in seed trays ... 25% germination. There's enough seeds so that this will be ok ... but i'd hoped for better germination.

They do sprout
The germination was pretty good. I directly sowed into the ground and got at least 1/4 of them to sprout.

Not so lucky so far
So far I have not had any success growing these seeds outside. I still have some and I will try them in my hydro planter.
