This is a great slicer. Easy to use. Seems very solid. Love that you can change how thick the slices are. I've used it on both sourdough and quick breads and it works really well on both. Very happy with it. Glad I didn't go electric because this seems much less likely to cut a finger and works very fast.

Bread slicer is awesome! I have an electric meat/cheese that works great however, I won't use it on my raisin or jalapeño/cheese or double chocolate bread because they gunk up the blade and is impossible to clean. THIS MANUEL SLICER DOES NOT HAVE THIS ISSUE!! It slices through all my specialty loaves easier and clean up is just taking a cloth or wet paper towel and wiping the blade and surface down. The suction feet work extremely well and kept the board/slicer completely stable. Game changer for me as I was hand slicing 10 specialty loaves weekly and that's hard with sourdough. I HIGHLY recommend this bread slicer. Boxed and wrapped well, came with instructions, and a tool to adjust bolts if ever needed. No damage. So glad I made this purchase.

Love this little slicer!Suctions well to my counter, does a great job at slicing bread in uniform slices and is easy to clean. I’ve wanted one for a long time and I’m glad I finally made the purchase.You do need to move slices when they’re cut, but that would need to be done regardless of the method.I looked at brands with a guard on them and they looked awkward and cumbersome, this little bread slice is perfect for the home baker.Bread slices best when completely cooled, which is advisable with the sourdough recipes I use.

I love this slicer! It works so well and is very easy to use. It seems well made and stays in place with secure suction cups. It slices thick crusty bread with no problems.

I’m obsessed with this slicer. It sticks great to the counter, so I always feel safe when I’m slicing. I love that I can choose the width of my bread and it’s aesthetically pleasing to the eye so it doesn’t bother me on the counter. When I store it, I do put it on a cooling rack because it doesn’t stick and it’s easier to get out. If you’re tired of using a knife to cut bread, I highly recommend this slicer.

This bread slicer is good. Suction to counter top was secure. Blade sharp. Adjustable knob freely allows for variable slice widths. Felt sturdy when in use. Color is nice. My only qualm is the hand crank is too close to the unit so that as the bread slice comes out it slides in the way of the crank and disrupts the slice flow and bending the slice. Needs a slice guide/guard. Not enough hands to push the loaf, crank the handle, and keep the slice upright while following through with the cutting causing the slice to bend into the hand crank. Easy remedy should the hand crank shaft be further away from the unit, and add a slice guide/guard to keep the slice upright throughout the cut.

This was my third purchase for items that would cut my homemade sourdough. I was growing frustrated because I felt like this was priced high, so I couldn't immediately start at the most expensive option. I bought a Keechee Adjustable Bread Slicer knife and it broke immediately upon use! Blade snapped right in half. Then I bought a LukieBoee Bread Slicer for Sourdough Rounds, and it took up tons of space but didn't work at all :(I finally gave up and bought this--wow. Game changer. It looks very nice on the counter, it cuts the bread PERFECTLY and with ease. Like it flies through the loaf! THIS WAS THE BEST INVESTMENT IN MY HOBBY! The bread is so much more enjoyable now as well, now that it is the perfect thickness!Can't recommend enough: DON'T DO WHAT I DID AND WASTE A BUNCH OF TIME AND MONEY ON CHEAPER OPTIONS THAT IMMEDIATELY BREAK. Skip all of that and get this. This is the good stuff.
