Took me a day or two to figure out how much batter to use, but I really enjoy this waffle maker. The first day I put a little too much batter in so it wouldn’t fully close to be able to flip over. The batter expanded too much and wouldn’t allow it to latch/lock to flip/twist it upside down. It’s very easy to clean compared to my last one. The cook time is perfect for me when I have it set at 3. I can see this lasting. The ease of turning it over and the pan underneath to keep counters clean works well.

Great waffle maker. Makes waffles soft and tender. It cooks quickly and evenly. The waffles pop out easily and don’t stick to the grids. For the price this is a great buy.

Excellent. Easy to use and keep clean. Almost does all the work for you.

I got this wonderful piece of machinery today. I also picked up some Krusteaz Sweet Cream mix, added teaspoon of cinnamon, teaspoon of imitation vanilla. I used a brush to coat the griddle plates with butter and then used the supplied cup to portion the batter. Waffles came out perfect. Cleaning with a moistened soap damp cloth, and then placed a wet paper towel between top snd bottom for 20 eeconds made cleaning easy. I recommend this to anyone looking for a great unit. DON'T RUIN YOUR WAFFLE IRON WITH SPAM OR similar sprays it removes the non stick

Previously had a Cuisanart Round Flip Belgian waffle make that recently bit the dust. It suddenly started burning the waffles and they were sticking so bad you couldn't get them our of the maker in one piece - or even in several pieces. Had it about 6-7 years probably and loved it. Cons: The new waffle maker (same brand, same slip style) (1) has no power on/off button, (2) doesn't beep when the waffle is ready. Pros: has a stainless steel removable plate that fits under it which is easier for clean-up when the batter spills out (if you add too much), (2) it seems like I will never have to oil it to avoid sticking waffles. Used it today for the first time and , Yes, I like it even though it has no power button and doesn't beep.
